I've been wanting to stop by to try the Hainan chicken since they have new management/ownership! Finally got to try and ended up going two days in a row!
I got carryout both visits. First time, I called and Ben answered the phone. Took my order and I picked up in 15 minutes. I got the Hainan chicken and rice with the soup and veggies. Also got the Hong Kong style milk tea! Shared with my niece and my mom. All of it was really good! Good enough that my mom wanted to go back today for more chicken as well as try their beef entrails. I don't eat beef so that was all for my mom, brother and nephew. They all said it was tender enough and had good flavor. The portion under local favorites has Chinese radish/turnip with it. Mostly tripe and tendon. Not the greatest they had, but still good.
I got more Hainan chicken along with the vegetable e-mein. Chicken was great. Noodles were really yummy! Hit the spot since I've been craving noodles! Portions are big enough that I'll be eating this for lunch tomorrow! Of course, I'll be getting both again!
Hong Kong style milk tea was great. Love the strong tea flavor! Not to sweet which is great for my taste buds.
There's a lot on the menu to try! As they recently changed hands, the menu is different than what I saw online. So it might be best to call and order or...

Read moreAs someone who lived in Macao as a child and visited Hong Kong and other parts of China over the years and I can say this place serves up really good authentic dishes. The taste and quality even rival some of the best restaurants in the Chinatowns of NYC. I tried their preserved egg and pork congee (delicious, perfectly seasoned, not too salty, melt in your mouth pork), chee cheong fun with hoison and peanut sauce (comfort food from my days in Macao), their signature Hainan chicken rice (big pieces of flavorful and juicy chicken breast, not the bony kind I would get at other places), and shrimp fried rice. All very delicious. The only dish we got that we won't order again in the future is their spicy wonton which was not very spicy. But Cantonese food is generally not spicy. Otherwise, a great find and I will be returning...
