OK...VERY Rude people behind the counters and the relatively inexpensive food ($25.00 bucks or so for 4 small lunches for co-workers) was just fine overall. No major complaints about the food when I picked up. Great salad fixing choices for a gas station deli, a decent hot sandwich, egg salad was fresh and cold, wings were okay in flavor, although very over-cooked that day. The beef noodle soup had no beef left in it at lunch hour? But was tasty anyway with the pasta and a seasoned sauce, according my coworker. If you can get beyond the rudeness of the people behind the counter talking down to you, yelling, rushing you, refusing to answer questions with civility, being sarcastic and ugly etc.. ( my first time there ever) once you do GET to eat any food after a long, rude experience and wait time, it was overall fine and would say it was worth the money spent on lunch for the day for sure. Will go again and hope for a better experience overall, as I dread dealing with the employees now, and an ungodly wait time as they do not ring you up after you order, but after you have eventually received ALL of your food, though the register is empty and you are ready at the register. Odd. So 20 other convenience store patrons come and go paying for one thing after another as you wait on the sidelines for just the food to get to the counter and THEN the store line all over again to pay for it and receive it….Why not ring up while you WAIT and get that OVER WITH as the food is made and bagged for the wait?? Not ideal and added to very poor customer service. Yes, we liked most of the food. :/ Crinkle french fries with gravy were yummy for sure. Got breakfast twice within a couple weeks ( delivered once. very fast delivery) later to avoid the women behind the counter at lunch hour, and paid for turkey sausage from the menu with breakfasts. TINY sausage order AND it certainly was not turkey sausage by any stretch of the imagination and was one and a HALF small patties? Was labeled TURKEY SAUSAGE on the container, Got VERY poor quality chewy, stringy with gristle, PORK sausage patties. I asked for and paid more for turkey sausage. (Have not seen any turkey sausage here AT ALL, including in the meat omelette. Don't order it if you cannot have low grade pork for any reason. It is NOT TURKEY SAUSAGE.) It IS THE SAME low quality pork bi-product that is in everything sausage -related here. THERE IS NO TURKEY SAUSAGE. Ok. That’s clear. Lol. But the omelette was good anyway!! Cheesy, fresh, a good size. French toast, regular toast, pancakes, bacon, etc all just fine and cheap too! Home fries/hash browns are dry and not skillet browned and contain little seasoning and no extras like onions, etc. Would not recommend them. All else with breakfast was fine and yes, also somewhat inexpensive. For a quick, cheap, and acceptable breakfast at work that beats fast food, learning what to not order again helps, but we are probably going to try some new things here again by delivery. Delivery seems to get you around the rude in- person experience and awkward, insulting wait as well. Note: Delivery is only within a few miles. We are less than a mile away, so it works fine if you order by 10:00 AM. They advertise 10:30 AM. Not true. Delivery person is also not crude in demeanor. Quite...
Read moreThis place is the best ramen place in Maryland! You heard it first. I have been to famous ramen places all across the world and happy that this place exists. I drove 40 minutes out of the way to give it a try after some rumors and found the only place I will eat ramen in Maryland. I ordered the Baltimore sun, shoyu, and tsukemen.
Shoyu was so light but intense in flavor. Absolutely delicious on a sunny day. The truffles were a nice touch of umami
Baltimore sun had a nice spice with plenty of saffron. The flavor was deep and delicious
Tsukemen had a nutty deep flavor. Excellent for a winter or fattier dipping ramen.
The noodles are extremely high quality and sourced from new York. Chashu was charred fatty deliciousness. Eggs poached perfectly and marinated in soy sauce.
Visit this place to keep it in business before they...
Read moreI ordered a chicken breast sub from them today. I got back to my desk only to find they'd given me a chicken patty sub. When I went back and explained the problem, they acted like it was my fault for not specifying grilled chicken breast. Two problems with this scenario:
