A good place to have a beer, a drink (try the Maddie Mule), and a snack or two. There are tables and a good outdoor seating area. The staff is attentive and the prices are fine (Happy Hour is a good time to visi!)

Read moreNotch 8 corrected their online menu right after I commented on it. My wife & I went there on a Thursday evening and were very happy we did. The beer selection is top-notch and the beers themselves are excellent. No off flavors, clean and crisp. I had the malt forward Air Monkey amber and she had the Fall Fest marzën. They also had a Belgian wit, a sour, a wheat, an IPA and a hazy IPA available to name a few. They are small batch so I presume the selection changes often. For dinner, my wife had the Salmon BLT and she said it was one of the best sandwiches she’s ever had. I had the patty melt. It was very good with lots of grilled onions. My only criticism (and why this is not 5 star) is that I asked for medium and it came out well done - no different than most other kitchens. I also requested the bread be grilled (like the patty melts I grew up with) but it came out toasted like the menu describes it. Bottom line is they won’t sway off the menu. The service was quick and friendly. All in all it was a very pleasant, satisfying experience and we will be back. I highly recommend...
Read moreI really like this place for group gatherings. Even when the place is packed, you can still hear each other speak, which is why I always recommend we go to this place over some of the other local places. Plus, the parking situation is good here. I always start off with their Strawberry Moscow mule. For beer, I tend to order sours and they've all tasted good. They don't have a thousand options, but all they offer are good. But I love their booze milkshakes best. Lots of different flavors. You go in expecting all milkshake and very little alcohol, but they are definitely heavy handed on the booze! :) They also have non alcoholic drinks. The food is pretty good here with good sized portions to share. I like their rockfish bites and their crab dip, but I've never been disappointed with any food I've ordered here. I wish they began food service a little earlier because I like to have food with my drinks and friends tend to want to meet here before 4 pm, and that's the only negative. Pricing is good. Good atmosphere. The people who work here are always very nice. You can...
