Bon Fresco — Restaurant in Maryland

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Easily the best ‘sandwich shop’ experience I’ve ever had. The service was absolutely astonishing, he even asked me how soon I would be eating the sandwich to make sure that they could separate the bread from the other ingredients if it was going to be an extended period of time. The bread that they use is phenomenal, the pulled pork was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. My only complaint would be that it was fairly spicy. (That is a personal problem, no fault to the business. I just can’t do spicy foods.) I am pretty certain that their bread would make the best breakfast sandwich on the planet, so I definitely need to come back and try it.

I will definitely be back soon, but next time will be for the breakfast!

Update: Stopped there for breakfast this morning. Absolutely incredible! I got the Steak Egg & Cheese. Easily the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had! Do yourself a favor and go try...

I'm visiting some friends in Odenton, and we had some sandwiches and sides delivered for lunch, and it was amazing. We got the curry chicken salad sandwich, capri sandwich, picante fresco sandwich, lentils and feta, broccoli salad, and couscous and chickpeas. The curry chicken sandwich was slightly sweet with just the right amount of curry. The capri was light and fresh but the banana peppers were a little heavy handed. The picante fresco was my favorite with a bit of spice that I was not expecting but enjoyed nonetheless. The broccoli salad and couscous and chickpeas were good but a bit light on flavor. The lentils and feta were incredible, though. Overall, an incredible lunch with food that tastes like effort. I'm disappointed that there isn't a Bon Fresco near...

Seriously, why have I not found this gem before now? I drove past this sandwich shop/bakery for years. Finally, yesterday I ate here. And I are here again today. It was that good an experience.

Sandwiches here are well maid on upgraded ciabatta bread (warm) and they don’t scrimp on meat and garnish.

Everyday there is a sandwich special and two soups. Spicy Peanut soup - excellent.

I first stopped here (found this place) for breakfast- needed coffee - also good.

The main man behind the counter is almost disarmingly friendly. Excellent customer service for everyone who steps in the door. Today at 1 pm for a short time there was a line out the door.
