Let’s start with the positives this is a small restaurant but the set up is great and is well organized..the people seemed to be nice and professional..let’s move to the negatives when I drove to this restaurant I had a hard time Finding parking Forget about parking in front of the restaurant most of those spots are taken and is impossible for two cars to fit in those spaces are meant for one car..I think this place would benefit from having some waiting chairs for pick up orders because a lot of people seemed to be waiting for their orders it took 40 mins for my order to be ready and I didn’t order a lot I also made this order over the phone so add 10 more minutes to that so you can imagine 5 other people that came after me for pick up orders.. so I noticed my order ready seating down for 10mins the lady that was putting the toGo orders toguether was more focus on the phone then the orders for clients that needed to pick up... I had to tell the lady I was rushing I also offer if I could help since I was rushing She then managed to put my order in the bag.. I order yuca con chicharrones, nuegados, pupusas the yuca looked fried but it was too soft it seemed as it was the yuca dough fried.. Unfortunately this didn’t meet my expectations for this appetizer the yuca should be real crispy and not dough fried .. the pupusas seemed to need more filling I felt as I was chewing on tortilla and it was also dry.. the nuegados were great.. I might give this place another chance in...
Read moreChefs kiss to this location. This place has upgraded in all the positive ways I have seen. I ordered the desayuno típico if I can remember there is 4 different kinds. I picked the last one had my eggs scrambled with the veggies, you are able to pick out how you want your egg. My sister got hers with the yolk inside and they gave her salsa de tomate on top which is smashed seasoned tomatoes very delicious. Again you can request what to have and not have on your dish they are very good with exchanging things on your plate. There are many other options to choose but we went for breakfast so it was worth the morning. I know this place can get packed I believe on weekends so if you have time through out the week go for it. Do mind that parking is very limited not too many spots for parking and layout is a bit awkward getting in so be aware that you may have to look for street parking and walk to the destination. Also the price was very reasonable I got extra side dishes but altogether spending on myself and my sister our breakfast was around 27 dollars super worth the cost I’m always down for good food...
Read moreI don't know what Ranger Vic's problem is - seeing as though he writes only bad reviews and never gives anyone praise...businesses don't need people like him. Period.
Anywho, La Casitas is wonderful. Anytime of the day - morning, noon, or night! Breakfast, lunch & dinner! During the cold days, try their Sopa de Res! I also firmly believe they have one of the best pupusas in town! They're stuffed to the T! The filling kinda oozes out of it! The steak tacos are of good flavor, simple! Although, if you have something against tough meats, that might be something to be wary of. Horchata is cold, refreshing and sweet! I have nothing bad to say about this place! Even when its busy, its still worth the wait! They even recognize your face after seeing you a few times! Its a family friendly atmosphere with delicious food! Give it a try! They...
