Loredo's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Maryland

I had lunch with my long time friend, at noon.

We sat inside, near a pair of billiards. [ 4quarters to operate and twist the bulbs to conveniently light up your game play area]

The service was great, Jensey, our server/bartender/food runner got us our drinks I had a margarita on the rocks. We ordered nachos supremo with grilled chicken as an appetizer. For our lunch my friend had the Camerones Del Rio ( Grilled Shrimps on a bed of fresh cucumber slices) and I had Camerones de la Crema.

After ordering we had a nice round of 8ball. It was a suspenseful game as we both thought I'd win but then the tables were turned when I scratched on the 8 ball. Anyways since the food was already served, it was an honorable loss.

All I can say is the food was absolutely delicious, incredibly satisfying. For a local family run business, surviving the hurts of the pandemic, I'm glad they didn't close like many other eateries, they really know how cook, I love it here. This is my second time here, I thought I was gonna do the enchiladas again but I couldn't help my myself when I saw that shrimp in the cream sauce. And let me tell you that shrimp is "mm..mm..good" fresh and so flavorful.

The prices are great, the service is superior, the music and entertainment are top notch. To have a warm environment so close to national harbor too..if not go to national harbor why not try Laredos just down the road. It's safe and to be honest worth the short detour. The food is great👍

Seriously , I was so disappointed. I live around the corner and only went because my family wanted to check it out. First of all the people that came in after us (2 different tables) got their food way before us ! And we didn't order anything fancy either. The tacos I got were salty , the beans were spicy , rice was plain and the food wasn't even warm as if it had just been ready and sitting in the kitchen !!!! Smh Mom wasn't happy with her order either she looked like a child just playing with her food mixing it around saying they barely gave her any chicken and she could've made the same thing way better at home. My sisters order had guacamole in it which I am still trying to figure out why the guacamole was spicy !!! Beans rice and plantains is almost a kids/toddlers meal !! So no I wouldn't come back even if someone invited me... I'd rather have something cheap and quick then to wait around for some bad Mexican food and get a bill of 70 for 3 adults and 2 kids , mind you I didn't eat mine so she took the order off. Disappointing... They need a new cook not just can and...

Im sorry to say that my fiance and i were discriminated against at this restaurant. Last Sunday when we arrived, the waitress, a latino woman continuously walked by us as we sat at the bar and never greeted us. After about 20 minutes she placed two menus in front of us and i said "thank you" and she just stormed off without saying anything. We sat there for another 10 minutes,while she talked to some white guy who came from the kitchen area. Then I realized that she had no intention on serving us, so I told my fiance that i had enough and wanted to go. As we proceeded to walk towards the door, the white guy followed behind us and said "great choice". I was visiting from North Carolina and didn't want to ruin my vacation so I just didnt say anything back.
