Worst customer service I've ever received. I've worked customer service, I get that employees get swamped, I'm normally a pretty understanding guy. I came in at 11:45, I was waiting 25 minutes before I could get someone's attention (without yelling across the store for it, I try and be polite), at this point I am told that yes I can order in person (their self order kiosks are turned off for social distancing) and the employee will be with me in a minute. After waiting a while longer I download the app to see if I can just put the order in online and the app says that the location is closed. After another 20 minutes I finally hear from the manager that they're only open for drive thru and mobile orders, when we (myself and the other two people waiting to order) told her that the app said they were closed she seemed apologetic, and I really feel for the employees because there were only 3 of them there, but if someone is waiting at the front counter directly underneath the "order here" sign for 45 MINUTES, maybe say something. I mean if your only open for drive thru and mobile orders that's ok, I understand, I could've been through the drive thru and home by now if you had told me within the first 10 minutes of waiting. I get that employees get swamped and make mistakes, but literally EVERY employee ignored me for 45 minutes. Heck when they were running payment for the drive thru they had to use the POS system I was standing in front of and they actively avoided eye contact when doing so! I don't fault the employees at all for the speed orders come out or how busy it was, they were moving fast, but I do fault them for completely ignoring a lobby full of people waiting to order, not knowing...

Lost the order, which took about 20 minutes for the staff to figure out, so my wife and two young grandsons had to wait over a half an hour to do a reorder, which the staff then got wrong! I asked for a quarter pounder WITHOUT cheese in the original order. In their do-over, what they gave me was WITH cheese, and bacon (which I did not order or want), and they told me they didn't have time to remake the hamburger the right way - the way I actually ordered it. They forgot to include the beverage in the Happy Meals for the kids, which we then needed to re-ask for at the counter, or include the extra ketchups I asked for in the original order - so, again, a trip to the counter, and finally, got NO apology for all the screw-ups THEY caused. And, the french fries were cold.
But, there is a nugget of really good news here: I and my family clearly DID NOT get food poisoning, so that's in the plus column!
Will I EVER step foot in this MacDonald's again? Not in a million years, even if were starving to death. By the way, another customer not in our party was also waiting over 30 minutes (he said) for his order. To note, this was at about 6:45 PM, the place was not crowded, and seemed to have at least 8 staff. I can only imagine the chaos at a busy time, such as lunch.
