O'Loughlin's Restaurant — Restaurant in Maryland

The food was great the and all that however it took way way to long for us to receive our food. We had to flag the waiter down everytime we needed a refill on drinks I had to check on our food about 4 times and people came in after us and ate and even left before our food came out and this happened 3 or more different tables. Then we finally ordered desserts and they took 45 min to get after me telling the manager about it then they came right out.. Figures!! But the food was pretty good I will say that and they would have gotten a five-star from me had the service been better the customer service destroyed it for me however I will give this restaurant another shot and I do highly recommend the food all of it was wonderful it just took way too long to get and we had four children with us who were getting more and more hungry and those of you that have kids when you're sitting there and they're hungry the longer it takes the worse it gets and it's not like we ordered some crazy extravagant food we ordered basic things that normally are made in bulk so it was just very disappointing to me. However we worse at fairly quick there was about 7 of us it just took an hour and 12 minutes to get a food and then we had to ask for our check about three times and it took another 45 minutes to get the desserts we walked in at 7 10 and we didn't leave that restaurant until about 9:30 maybe 9:45 so like I said the food was great but the service was not very well and it might have just been the person who was waiting on us so I still recommend...

We stopped here on a Friday night after attending a play in Annapolis and found this place on a Google search after finding the restaurants in Annapolis a little pricey for a family of 5. Are we glad we did. One comment I have, we're from Rockville and not very familiar with the area and without Google Maps I doubt if we would have found this place at night. Also, the signage for the small strip mall it's located in is pretty poor and the restaurants tucked away in a corner of the center that's under construction or renovation.

Once we got in we were seated right away and were glad to see other families there as I wasn't sure what kind of crowd this restaurant attracted. Our waiter was prompt and attentive during our entire meal. We ordered the Ultimate Nachos, which lived up to their name as they were gone by the end of the meal, and Crab Dip Pizza for appetizers, which was so good they had us hungering for more.

Our main courses were the Chicken Gyro, Cubano Sandwich, Reuben, Cheeseburger Grilled Chicken platter. I would recommend the Sweet Potato Fries on the side, they were delicious. Whenever and wherever we go to eat there's usually at least one of us who doesn't want, or can't finish their food. That wasn't the case here as all of our plates were licked clean. The atmosphere was noisy, but not loud, rowdy or obnoxious, what one would expect from a neighborhood pub. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely stop by for something to eat, and maybe even...

So we decided to try to get a table at Senor Chiles next store. I know Cinco de Mayo, what were we thinking? We go in the door and they tell us they are on an hour and half wait. I don't care how good the tacos are, an hour and half is too long,

So, we go next door to O'loughlins.We had been there a time or two in the past, so why not.

We get seated right away. Our server arrives and we ask if there are any happy hour specials. She tells us " I just got here"

Ok, so I order a beer and my wife goes and checks out the specials board. Turns out, they have $5 margaritas and $15 fajitas.

Our server returns with my beer and my wife tells her that Margaritas are on special. So far so good.

We both decide to get the fajitas and I swear we told her I would like the steak and my wife would like the chicken.

The steak comes out and we ask, "where is the other order ?" She had the impression that we were going to split the steak fajitas. She apologized and put in an order for some chicken fajitas.

We found this experience amusing. From this day forth, when we go back, we will remember our half our order didn't make it out on...
