UPDATE: I have to downgrade my rating bc this place has gone downhill. The lively server I talked about before has stopped working there and for whatever reason there’s been a slow steady decline. We continued to eat here on multiple occasions in hopes that each experience was just a “bad day.“ Today, was our last time eating here. The service was subpar (no asking if we need anything and we did), the restaurant isn’t as clean as it used to be, the food is good but no longer great. The final straw though was finding three strands of hair in my daughters french fries. See the pictures below. I did not get a picture of the first french fry that had a white/gray hair standing up from it but I did get a picture of the other two fries. It completely spoiled my appetite. Unfortunately, my daughter had already eaten some fries so who knows how many hairs she actually consumed. Now, I’m not so naïve to think that food in a restaurant doesn’t have hair in it. I know that it does, but, I don’t want to see it. I can and have coped with one hair but three is over the top and too much. I won’t be coming back. Excellent on all levels. The service was quick and the food was amazing. I had the French toast with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It also came with one egg any style and bacon, sausage, or scrapple. My food was so delicious and I felt so happy. My husband had an omelette with home fries. My son had the tall stack of pancakes, which came with an egg and a sausage, bacon or scrapple. My daughter had 8 fried dumplings and the French toast without all the sides. I cannot emphasize enough how excellent all of the food was and it was not crazy expensive. They serve breakfast items the entire time they’re open, but they also have a lunch menu with more typical lunch type items. I would be remiss if I did not mention how friendly our server was. He was funny and lots of people seemed to know and chat with him. We sat outside and enjoyed the perfect weather. We’ve been looking for a brunch place for three years and we finally found one. We will be back...maybe next week. 😄

Located on the Market Place Piney Orchard, off of Piney Orchard Parkway. Plenty of parking. Relatively small in the inside, maybe 12-14 tables/booths. Had a nice crowd for a late breakfast. Very clean. Went there for a late breakfast (which I believe they serve all day). Our server was Debbie. Very friendly and attentive. Lots of breakfast choices ranging from eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast, waffles and biscuits and gravy. I ordered a 2 egg (scrambled) platter ($7.99) that included their home fries. Comes with a slice of toast but I ‘upgraded’ to the croissant for an additional $1. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the croissant melted in your mouth. Additionally, a full serving of the biscuits and gravy ($7.99) was ordered. Large bowl of gravy that included 4 biscuits. The biscuits were light and the gravy was very good. Coffee was ordered with free refills. There must have been over 1,00 customer pictures on the wall. A military discount was not available. Overall, a very nice experience and I will return.

Even though I believe it's run by Asians now it had to be owned by white people in the past and so it didn't feel inviting when we walked in. It was another black couple there so we decided to stay. As for the food, it was ok (biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict) but the potatoes were pretty good. I ordered them on the side and they came out before my biscuit and gravy which was weird. I like my stuff to come out together so that gave them a strike. After it was noticed that we weren't so pleased by that the lady we assumed was the owner started making sure we were good and brought the rest of our food out. I won't say we won't return bc again we enjoyed the potatoes but I can't really say it will be soon but for the price I might if I'm starving and on a budget. Oh yeah, the coffee was pretty good too.

Visiting from out of state, found this cute little place for breakfast. Ordered basic breakfasts of eggs over easy, potatoes (added onions) and meat. I decided to order the pork chop platter. No where on the menu does it indicate that they deep fry their meat. My girlfriend’s breakfast came out first. 10 min went by and I had to flag the server down for my breakfast. Finally came back with it. Eggs were over hard so I sent them back to be remade. Pork chop was deep fried, not seasoned and tasted like boiled ham. Disgusting. I expected a grilled chop. I sent it back. I got attitude. When the mgr came back with the check, the full breakfast was on it. I told her that I sent the breakfast back and that the eggs were wrong & the pork chop was terrible. She gave me more attitude and snidely stated, “that’s how we make the chops here.” I told her it was our first time there and had it been on the menu, I wouldn’t have ordered it. I also said that it wasn’t a good first time experience. She grabbed the check & stormed off. A few min later she brought back the adjusted check. I don’t mind paying for the food I ate. The potatoes and onions were great. The croissant was buttery and yummy. The remade eggs were ok. But to give a first time customer attitude because you’re not clear on your menu, is wrong. Some people don’t eat deep fried food, especially meat. First and last time there. Too bad too because it was a cute place. And our waitress was very nice but she never asked if we needed anything else, nor offered more coffee. The one star is for the manager with...

Had an unfortunately bad experience. Went on a Sunday morning, and I got very excited when I was seated right away! I figured that since it was a small breakfast/brunch type place, it would be a pretty quick in and out sort of thing. Most reviews online said it was super fast, and most places that are local diner-esque like this tend to be quick.

I was wrong. After my partner and I ordered, it took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. All we ordered was eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I made it a point to express my frustration, as my partner needed to be at work by a certain time, and all they did was comp my coffee... my $1.75 coffee. That's it. Other tables received their food 15-20 minutes BEFORE we did, despite us getting seated prior to them. I did at one point notice them point at our table and freak out, meaning I have a feeling they forgot our ticket. After expressing our need to leave quickly, they keep telling us the food would only be another minute, but in reality it took at least another 15 for it to get to us. Then, I had them ring us up before we finished so we could leave right away, but my credit card went missing. They took over ten minutes to ring my bill up... the bill that honestly should have been entirely comped.

I will not be returning. Not only did our food take forever but it wasn't the greatest, and even though it wasn't expensive or anything, I would have much rather spent my 16 dollars elsewhere. This was a very...
