TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! The absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced at Papa Johns. I definitively would not recommend ordering from the Papa Johns located at Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro, MD. I have ordered delivery to my home from them before with no issues, but tonight (11/11/2020) it was a completely different story.
I made a mobile order for no contact delivery to my front door. The delivery driver called me because he had driven up my neighbor’s driveway instead by mistake. He stated that he did not want to drive up my drive way because it was on a hill and wanted to leave my food on top of my mailbox. This would probably not be an issue if I did not have about a 2 acre front yard and live in a wooded area on a main road (wild raccoons and foxes are known to roam for food outside). So I said that the mailbox option would not work and that I needed it delivered to my door. The driver then said okay and hung up the phone.
Twenty minutes later I had not received my order yet so I called the Papa Johns location and asked what happened. I was told my order was left on my mailbox anyway and when I requested a refund or credit I was rudely denied. By the way, my Instacart order was delivered a few minutes after I spoke with the pizza delivery driver and the Instacart driver did not have any issues delivering to my front door. Also, when we retrieved our order from the mailbox we noticed that the delivery seal stickers that are usually on the boxes to show nothing has been tampered with were not on the pizza boxes and it appeared that one of the boxes had been bent open.
I will not be ordering...
Read moreThis is the third time someone from this store has harassed or questioned me about tipping—the last time being the manager.
Funny enough, I also deliver pizza. So you know what I do know? I know drivers are paid PER delivery, PLUS hourly AND mileage pay. So save the guilt trip.
the first thing I was taught is that you never know someone’s situation. People lose their jobs, can’t walk—whatever the reason, tipped or not, I provide the same service to every customer.
Your drivers are constantly begging for extra cash, because they’re grown adults with grown bills working a job that’s designed to be a teenagers side job probably because whatever they did in life limited their opportunities to just this. YOU CAN TELL.
But If you care so much about driver pay, then YOU pay them more or charge what’s needed to properly sustain your workers. I’m not obligated to tip to make up for your drivers’ low pay—especially with the nut cases you send to my house. Half the time I’m scared to open the door. that’s what the base wage is for. You’re already asking $29 for a plain, no-topping pizza and that’s not enough? lol okay.
As a customer, I should NEVERRR have to explain my financial situation. This was the only place that delivered in my area but I’ll go pick up somewhere else and tip EACH TIME because I can count on...
Read moreI'm filing an official complaint! I'm visiting family and ordered pizza, which wasn't enough. I called back to order more and continued to be rerouted to the "manager" line. I was told to call back and press option # 3, which I did x3 and reached a "manager" who identified himself as "Casey." He was extremely aggressive in his tone and refused to assist me and advised he doesn't know which number for me to call and for me to hang up and google the appropriate store to my location. AGAIN I am not from here and when I googled this is the store that came up. He was extremely rude, used excessive profanity and when I asked him for a corporate number he told me I need to google it and find out. His aggressive behavior was deplorable and disgusting .I am appalled at any corporation that would hire such filth. I hope calls are recorded because I have exact date and times and I want something done about this. I want the corporate offices to see the type of "managers" they hire to represent their brand. A formal complaint will be made, immediately!!! I will absolutely never order from another Papa...
