The Pit Stop BBQ — Restaurant in Westphalia

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was so excited I told my co workers about them and we all decided to order from them on August 28. We ordered 3 catfish meals off the lunch special which comes with 1pc of catfish a small fry and a can soda for $12.50. We also ordered a regular catfish meal (which online was I believe $14 and some change maybe) I called the order in around 11:20 and was told it will be ready at 12:30. We got to the restaurant and they had the order wrong. One of the catfish lunch special meals was missing. The regular catfish meal comes with one side we were charged for the Side. Once we realized one of the meals were missing the rude young lady in front said it will take them 40 mins to cook 1 pc of catfish and some fries. She was not apologetic about messing up our order. It was as if we were irritating her for not taking the correct order. We were over charged for our meals given the wrong meals and then treated badly. The French fries were fresh and pretty good I think due to them not being prepared and having to rush orders our fish was burnt. I will not be coming back as my co workers expressed the same sentiment. I was really disappointed with the pit stop...

BBQ is on par with other commenters. Between a friend and I we ordered a few meat combos, cornbread, potato salad, fries, yams, etc. Yes. Everything was good. However, good food doesn’t mean I have to accept crappy service. Literally every table was dirty. We were the only two people eating in. When I asked if we could get the table wiped, the response while gripping the cellphone was, “Can’t you just move to another table!?” My response, was “Yes, But that table is dirty. THAT table is dirty, THAT table is dirty. There are no clean tables!” He then proceeded to clean our table, leaving all the other tables dirty, only to go back on his phone, watching football on TV, making me and my guest feel like we were annoying. And the way they answered the phone to call-in orders was not professional at all! People go for the food. People come back for the service. No phones at work. Customer responsiveness. Be pleasant. Keep the place clean. Easy. I won’t be going back no matter how good the food. Too many other customer friendly...

This has been my go-to BBQ spot for over a decade. My husband took me to their roadside spot in Aldie, VA, and I've been hooked ever since. They were always the vendor with the longest line, and for good reason. No joke the best!! The Kale is soooo good. My son has to get his own serving of baked beans, lol. Pulled pork sandwiches, burnt ends, and a rack of ribs are always on my order. In the end it's always all so good. If you can get the mac&cheese and cornbread before they sell out you won't regret it 😉 People have stood in line for an hour to get this stuff!
