Visiting your location with excitement, I felt proud to support a local business and develop a relationship for years to come and more. However, my dreams were quickly diminished.
Quite frankly, my experience was absolutely terrible. Customer service was subpar from the male at the register. From the time I walked in, he seemed annoyed at my presence. I would like to believe that most people will have questions and the task of performing your job as an employee, should not be a burdensome experience for new customers.
Consumers will come to you all as the experts in your respective industry. Therefore, someone knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly should represent your business. Your employees are a reflection of your business and that responsibility is not suitable for some.
Going forward, for the sake of others, I hope that you all reevaluate your seafood professionals’ attitudes and behaviors. Thankfully, Kent Island Crab Co. saved the day. Even with a line out the door, the drive was worth it and the customer experience...
Read moreI ordered 2 dozen XL crabs today, and when I went to pick them up, there was only 1dozen crabs on my order. After speaking with the young lady who took my order, she remembered taking the order, but inadvertently put in the wrong amount. She immediately told me to go home with the aforementioned 1dozen, and that she would deliver the second dozen to my home personally. You do not get this type of service anywhere else. The crabs were delicious, heavy, and packed. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but just assumed she was the manager. I’ve been getting my crabs here for years. Read moreI called ahead on Labor Day afternoon to see if they had fresh soft crabs and they did. Was told on the phone large were $6 and small were $4 which seemed like a decent price. Got there and ordered 6 large soft crabs which looked really more average size than large but that was ok. Asked the lady if she could clean them for me and she did reluctantly. Only reason I asked for them to be cleaned is because I don't know what to clean on them. I would have paid extra if she wanted but I ended up leaving a $3 tip in the tip jar on the counter. Paid $36 and left. Got home and looked in the bag and only had four crabs. So ended up paying almost $10 a piece for average sized soft...
