Philadelphia Style Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

Updated below first review for second order here on 5/5/23… it was bad.

First order- We ordered the ny pizza, cheesesteak pizza, thermo nuclear Buffalo wings, lemon pepper whole wings, and fries. The pizzas were okay. Not really noticing the ny style being thinner than the cheesesteak. The wings were fine. The hot wings weren’t really hot at all and the lemon pepper was barely noticeable on the whole wings. The fries were not good, under cooked maybe.

Second try- 5/5/23- decided to give this place another go. Ordered via Slice app. Going to rate each item as there was a lot happening here… large pepperoni and jalapeño with extra cheese-this was ok apart from being pretty wet. Was it the extra cheese? I’m not sure.

medium Greek- no idea how this would have been because they sent a plain cheese pizza instead.

gravy fries- bad. Barely any gravy and what was there had no flavor.

tandoori whole wings- they sent plain, not even salted wings.

hot Buffalo wings- also sent plain wings with no seasoning.

chef salad- this was gross. We didn’t eat it. Not a single thing in this salad looked fresh and decent to eat from the meat to the veggies.

cheesecake- this was the only thing we really enjoyed… small slice but tasted okay.

In the end we only got a refund for the Greek pizza. I can not order from this...

I have to write this post in apology to a review I posted on ubereats last night. No (2/21/23) I ordered food they were the only place with in our new area first time . I do not consume pork and wasent sure if it was going to have it in my meat marinara so I specified instructions to only use meat marinara if it was ent pork but there was no description . Anywho my lasagna looked great smelled great tasted good , but the meat was hard to tell based on texture and flavor which is good in retro thinking . So I couldn’t eat it , without being certain. I guess I could have called but it was 20 mins before close had to get that order in .. 😂 then I ordered a seafood platter that wasn’t as tasty .or as I expected for my seafood. However it is a different cultures take on the items I Now now and understand the flavors and method more. I left a review upset that I couldn’t enjoy my food . And confused on the meat. I called today (2/22/23) to ask and found out it’s a halal place . And that they do not sale pork . I have tried all of the pizza places that deliver to my zipcode and Philadelphia Style Pizza is the best in the area. Hint, please try their thin crust; it is the best of the three different crust options they offer and it isn't paper thin. It has a very nice texture and they cover the bottom in cornmeal which adds a bit more flavor. The pizza is great. The pick up prices are some of the best in the area, and the delivery is some of the best I have experienced. When I order a pizza they have it at my door within 25 minutes. Even on weekends and holidays they are consistent and I never have to call them to ask where my food is. Good food, good customer service, and great delivery times.
