Pizza & Sub King — Restaurant in Maryland

I believe the ownership of this carry out may have changed within the last year. Their quality and cleanliness definitely has, and not in a good way. I ordered a pizza from them and when I received it, there was a bug in the box running laps around it. I immediately got back out my car walked back in the store to return it. When I showed one of the guys working there, he grabbed a napkin and killed the bug and so it seemed look at me as if to ask if I still wanted it. After a stare off, he finally asked if I wanted another pizza. I immediately responded with “no, I wanted my money back”. Now, I just took this pizza from the “manager’s” hands not even 60 seconds before I returned it. But he looks me in my face and tells me “the manager isn’t here, so I can’t give you your money back”. I insisted on waiting, and lo and behold the manager magically pops up from around the corner of the counter. Reluctantly he gave me my money back and I got out of there. The way the guy killed the bug then looked at me, it seemed as if he were used to having bugs crawling around food. Kinda like I was being a nuisance for bringing it back. Like insects in the food is typical Tuesday work or something. Naaaw buddy, this place won’t be getting anymore...

I ordered a meal and paid with my card. The driver finally arrives and says I needed to pay cash? I said, I paid by card and he says, well they didn’t give me a receipt for you to sign. As long as I have ordered from this place I never had to sign. This driver stood at my door in a hostile manner and tried to intimidate me to pay with cash. My daughter calls Pizza Sub King back to confirm we paid by card, in front of the driver. I showed him the payment from my bank and he drops his head and says it’s okay and walked away. I called back Pizza Sub King to inform them, one, what happened and how this was not professionally service, two, the food was cold, and three how he tried to make us come to the car. They transferred me to two people and I had to explain each time. Finally, they put the driver on the phone, which he accused me of lying… Not sure what they were on this night, but watch your money and make sure...

I ordered 6 things from here for a family of 5 and it was all really good!! I had the chicken parm pasta, it comes with a side salad and garlic bread. The dinner was delicious, the salad was topped with onion, tomato, cucumber (peeled), green pepper and an olive. I was super impressed with my little salad. My oldest son ordered a cold cut sandwich and a house salad, he said it was all delicious. My second son got the shrimp basket and he said it was really good also, I tasted some of his fries and they were good. I also ordered the ranch cheesesteak for my step mom and she said it was great with a lot of meat on it and my dad said the same about his cheesesteak. I highly recommend this new place. Even the person who took my order over the phone was great and got everything correct, it got here about half an hour...
