So many gluten-free options! This place is an oasis for my picky and celiac family. My pickiest young'un' chose a hard boiled egg only from a plethora of fixings at the salad bar, and a fruit salad of only cantalope. To get only cantalope, our server had to carefully scoop around the other 3 fruit in the seving dish. She was very kind and patient. My older kiddo chose jambalia (sp?), brussel sprouts, and another side (I forgot what it was!) He ate it all! I ordered the Tuscan chicken and 2 sides: greenbeans, and butternut squash and cranberries. It was delicious! There are options across many international flavor borders. Also at least a quarter of the items were gluten-free. (The whole place is peanut-free, too.) My husband, who is not celiac, got to enjoy gluten to his heart's content; a savory crepe followed by homemade icecream with cake and cookie dough in the mix. The mint chocolate chip icecream is powerful and wonderful. Much better than we have had anywhere else. Also, the staff was very friendly and down to earth. We arrived close to 7pm on a Sunday, and they were restocking dishes at the buffet even that late. A steady stream of customers continued to arrive after us, mostly for take-out. Great little place to...
Read moreHate to write this horrible review after coming here for so many years but I drove to my daughters from Bethany De. for Mother’s Day We decided to have breakfast at our favorite pit stop. It was 10:50 a.m. when I ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese bagels. I was informed by the young lady on duty that wouldn’t be possible because they were out of “everything” breakfast wise due to the unexpected Sunday rush. So we decided to order cheeseburgers. She didn’t advise me that the meat was frozen. Meanwhile she handed me the remaining order of tater tot’s and fries so that I could pay my bill. As I waited a gentleman came in and ordered a breakfast burrito…..which was made with no problem ……I asked how that was possible and was told they had eggs and the other fillers were pre made I then asked why she hadn’t suggested that option or perhaps an egg and cheese bagel. She said not many people eat egg and cheese bagels. Long story short I left 1/2 hour and $46 later with cold potatoes and 2 cheeseburgers that I really didn’t want. My biggest issue however was the young lady’s impolite and contemptuous attitude. Happy Mothers Day I don’t think I will be back which is so unfortunate because it was one of our favorite spots to grab...
Read moreI have been eating from poulet for quite some time. I have frequented the catering location in hunt valley the brick and mortar in timonium and also the location on falls rd. Since the Timonium location hs closed I was forced to go back to the falls road location and it reminded me immediately WHY I stopped going to that location before. The food is OK but definitely not the quality it hs bn in the past. The prices of the platters hv increased but the portions have decreased. The cleanliness standards are seriously lacking. There is a fan or AC right over the food line and the females do not wear hair nets. I literally WATCHED their hair blowing in the wind and a piece of one young ladies hair went flying in the air. I cannot attest to WHERE it landed but it should not have bn flying at all. I WATCHED one of the young ladies scratching her ear with her gloves then used same gloves to TOUCH food. I then watched her flip her long braided ponytail with same gloves on. Same employee also picked food off counter surrounding food and just put the pieces back into the food. Staff needs a serious lesson in overall cleanliness. I wont be going...
