Let me preface this by saying I don't usually like to leave negative reviews but I have been going to this Rita's for over 2 years now and tonight was my worst experience.
Usually went we go we are meet with a super nice gentleman. Tonight it was a female employee we haven't seen before. We waited patiently behind a family as it was busy. When we got up to the front both my husband and I had to repeat our orders because she didn't hear us the first time. I know the room can be a bit loud so we usually are good at saying our orders loudly, especially if the first order was hard to hear. However we were quick to notice she had an air pod in one of her ears. I am not one to be upset about employees listening to music at work. If it can help one be productive but if it is hindering that employee from hearing an order then there is a problem.
My husband got exactly what he ordered. I did not. I order the brookie dough concrete. I had to step away before the order was made because I am highly asthmatic and there was a group of people smoke pot in the parking lot. Not big deal I just step away from the situation. When my husband got to the car he was quick to ask if he wanted me to have him go back because he knew my order was wrong. It was a brookie dough but it came in vanilla instead of chocolate. Not a big deal I can adjust and the place was busy so I didn't want to cause a scene and a delay by asking it to be made again. But I was slightly bummed because I was looking forward to the chocolate custard.
We left the parking lot and I went to take a bite of my treat to realize it wasn't as full as it normally is. Things happen but in this current economy you want what you are paying for and not less. It may have been one of her first nights or something. To which I feel bad writing a review like this, however, I do believe moments like this need to be brought up so a customers experience stays consistent and the quality of the product is the same.

I just walked away a few minutes ago. I walked up to the window & patiently waited a few minutes because of course no one was @ the window to assist me.
I watched 2 young girls walk up the front, 1 may have been working, 1 looked right @ me & no one greeted me, said give me a few minutes or anything.
The 1 that looked @ me had an airpod in her ear she may had possibly been on the phone, not certain. She was talking but could've been talking to her coworker. I watched this girl peek around something to look @ me, I guess to see if I could see her.
That's when I shook my head & walked away. I'll spend my money @ another location! I've never had this experience @ Rita's before! If they don't want to work they should go home.
I'm highly disappointed & really wanted some Italian ice while on my break.

Instead of saying we have kiddie (WHICH ONE IS OUR SMALL) regular and large she is going back and forth with me when I asked for a small. .. "we have kiddie" so I ask we just want two smalls. .she replies "we have kiddie size" so then I ask is that the equivalent of your small? SHE SHE TO A LIKE " I SAID KIDDIE" SO TO K LIKE UR KIDDIE IS THE SMALL. AND SO FOR ADULTS YOU ONLY HAVE REGULAR AND LARGE?
