Normally when I go to this particular Starbucks I am met with mediocre service. When I say āmediocreā I mean that not one staff member exudes the highest level on customer service. All of the associates lackluster in their demeanor, performance and attention to detail.
Nonetheless, am I writing this review about my experience this morning with a young lady named āBecky.ā I asked for my usual drink that I get almost everyday, made the same way.
Venti Strawberry AƧai, with lemonade, 1 pump of classic, shaken with ice but no ice in the cup. (They didnāt have any lemonade)
When the drink is given to me the cup is half full, I asked Becky why this was the case and she said because you asked for it shaken with ice. I told Becky thatās how I always ask for my drink and itās never given to me half full; I ordered a full drink. Becky, immediately gazing at me with irritation looking over her glasses, storms in the back and began speaking with another associate. When she returns, her disposition and tone was completely unprofessional. When I asked who the manager was, she pointed and said āhim in the blue shirtā Becky didnāt even attempt to rectify the experience.
I will not return to this Starbucks, Id rather travel to Bethesda instead of receiving poor service. Starbucks, please train your employees to understand that the experience the customer has is what keeps them returning aside from the beverage...

I'm not much of a Starbucks fan. Don't really like their coffee, and I think they are way, way overpriced. But I stopped by this one today because I was in the mood for a frappuccino (about the ONLY thing they have that I like) and I had two bucks left on a gift card someone had given me.
The location was okay and plenty of parking. But the staff? Geez, talk about an unfriendly bunch.
Three of them working and they seemed more interested in gossiping about their coworkers than in serving customers. They don't acknowledge you with a "hello" or "what can I get you?" They pretty much just stare at you and wait for you to say something. No smile (fake or otherwise). Even when my drink was done, the woman just placed it on the counter and walked away.
It's the closest thing to being served by robots, except I would expect robots to be programmed with some fake small talk/patter.
My drink: it was okay, but I asked for a shot of espresso. Didn't get it. Then again, they didn't charge me for it, so...
I'll give it two stars 'cause the drink was okay.
And while I'm on the subject: What's with the seating? Hard wooden chairs and tables. Like the kind of stuff Catholic school kids had to sit on back during the early part of the 20th Century. Hey, Starbucks? Check out the seating Panera has and maybe invest in a...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei see a lot of bad comments about this place but i have been going here for over 9 years and never have i once had a bad experience the people here are so nice and helpful and honestly deserve a raise if they have to deal with people like the people leaving these comments. Sure they are human so they might mess up once or twice but don't we all they don't deserve the hate I see them get sometimes. The other day when i was here i saw someone ask for there drink to be iced so of course the people here made it iced then the person got mad because there wasn't enough ice sure maybe it was a miss communication in which case you can ask nicely for it to be re made but no this person got so mad it made no sense to me. I have read 1 star reviews on this place complaining they look upset no they look tired sometimes because this is hard work they are doing not only are they making food and drink all day but they put up with Constant criticism for the tiniest mistake they make. I love this place and the people here i have even thought about applying...
