Please donāt come here on a Sunday hoping to see your favorite out of network football game on Sunday Ticket. Incompetence reigns. We called ahead to make sure we could watch our favorite team there and were told yes. We arrived a half hour before kickoff and were seated in the bar area of the main dining room, where we were told we could watch our game, and placed our drink orders. After drinks were delivered, the server encouraged us to move to the back bar area, where we were seated in front of a TV that we were told would be carrying our game. So we ordered two expensive lunches. Kick-off time arrived and some other game was on the TV in front of us. There was another couple behind us who were also fans of our team. We all complained and were literally ignored for 20 minutes. We were told that staff could not change channels and that the manager was on the phone to Direct TV. There were 9 TVās in the back bar area and none was showing our game. Our meals arrived and mine was stone cold. After a half an hour wait for some help to change the channel, we were told to move back to the main bar to watch our game. We had to pick up our own dinners and drinks ourselves and move them to the main bar (our third seating), and the server agreed to heat up my expensive meal. The other couple followed us. My reheated meal arrived and was hot now but overcooked and dried out. Then we discovered that the third TV we had been directed to at the main bar was also not showing our gameāit was the Red Zone. At that point, the younger couple gave up and left the restaurant. Finally, after being there for an hour, we got wind from another customer (no thanks to the servers) that our game was on at the back bar now. So we moved with our drinks for a fourth time. We had missed the entire first quarter. We finally got to watch the gameābetter late than neverābut it was a really bad experience from start to finish (food and customer service) and we wonāt be back. Corner Stable lost two couples as customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere do I even begin. This in no way reflects on the Cockeysville location. I go to that one frequently. I placed an online order for pickup before the location even opened. Got a confirmation that it would be ready at 1114. I arrive 7 minutes before. Called and said I was outside. 1117 comes no food. I called again to check. (At this point I only had 13 min left in my lunch break and was late). The rude person who answered the phone hung up me when I asked where it was. I said if itās going to take much liner I MAY need to cancel and asked for a manager. I got out of the car. Went inside. Asked for a manager. Here comes the most rude āmanagerā I have ever seen in my life. She stands there and DEBTAES with me about when I placed my food. By the way. Nooone in the place. (One small table with 2 people). She then proceeds to tell me. Thereās 10 orders before yours. How is that possible when i placed it 30 min in advance. I then asked for my food. (Which stilll wasnāt ready). She is gone for 4 more minutes. She throws my food at me. I then demand a refund. She said she wasnāt giving me anything. I asked to speak to a manager. She said āRyanā is not there and I will have to keep calling if I want to speak to him. So here we are. Food that was tampered with. (The bag tie was untied when I can see it was previously tied) Thrown on the counter and nothing done to fix it.
Update. Iāve been waiting for a phone call from the owner For over 24 hours now. As you can see in his response below he said that I didnāt say no tomatoes. My receipt says no tomatoes. My order that was placed online says no tomatoes. Iāve now reported this as a fraud transaction to my bank since no one has reached out to me to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off, the service was great. Thatās unfortunately where my compliments end.
We started with a Jumbo Lump Crab Pretzel. Besides imitation crab dishes, this is probably the most disappointing crab-related thing Iāve ever eaten. It was supposed to be lump crab and cheese melted over a pretzel. Not hard, right? Well, clearly, this was prepared way in advance and was simply put in some high-end microwave. Half of it was lukewarm and the other half was stone cold; chewy with cold melted cheese. It was exceptionally lazy.
I had the crab cake sandwich as a main. It was passable, but still very odd as It had a very weird structure that I havenāt ever seen in a crab cake in MD. Iām sure this is their intended signature but itās quite odd and stands out in a way that isnāt necessarily great. It was essentially some lump crab (not sure if actually MD crab) encased in a thick breading mixture with a few pieces of lump on top. Visually appealing, but when you go to eat it, you end up with just a bunch of breading at the end and around the sides rather than the breading distributed throughout. It isnāt consistent and itās just kind of weird.
A side order was incorrect, and that can be forgiven, but the bland, once frozen green beans that were merely reheated In a pan (if weāre giving the benefit of the doubt) with little seasoning was just bad. It was like they had a bin of mostly-reheated frozen green beans sitting in water and were just scooping them out into a side dish.
Even the fries they gave me as a mistake earlier just werenāt good. They were limp, cold, and they werenāt seasoned whatsoever. The oil they used to fry them has to be old.
Man, I really didnāt want to rip on this place but it was just...
