The Yummery — Restaurant in Maryland

The Yummery came through for me in a hurry after Walmart canceled my order, mind you I placed this order 3 1/2 weeks before my wedding anniversary party. God is so good I’m so happy with the customer service I received and the care that I received, The Yummery saved me time and anguish, when I tell you my prayer was answered. I was running around frantically calling all over town and Christi was the only person who was sympathetic and took time to listen to me. She broke protocol just to save my day. She made me feel seen and heard and she deserves 5 stars for that alone. The cake it’s self was a taste that my mouth had never experienced, this wedding cake was so beautiful and it being a surprise brought tears to my wife’s eye and I cried just watching her but back to the taste. It melted in our mouths, it burst with flavors, Yellow cake with lemon on one tier OMG. We couldn’t believe it, when we sliced into the bottom tier it was chocolate infused with Strawberries so fresh it tasted like homemade strawberry ice cream. We’ve been married 25 of our 30 years and never had a wedding or wedding cake but this made for it. I am a customer for life and will tell everyone I know about the Yummery. The store was clean and smelled delicious. Her items are fairly and reasonably priced. They also took care and helped to load the cake in my car. I drove away very happy. I have been ordering my cakes/cupcakes from The Yummery for quite some time now. While the treats are always the most delicious, I can say the customer service will always keep me coming back whether it be to order a cake for an event, or my weekday cupcake fix. I recently hosted a baby shower and was sick for 2 weeks prior and with no help I was in full panic mode. I was completely overwhelmed ,to say the least. Christy helped me out of a bind from making sure I picked the best favors, to even delivering my order to the venue which definitelywas not the plan. Not only that she seen the panic in my face , and she took time out of her Saturday morning to not only deliver my order but she stayed to help set up. And that right there is absolutely amazing customer service. The Yummery hands down has the most delicious cupcakes , cinnamon rolls, and the most beautiful cakes. Christy and her employees are friendly and extremely helpful. I will continue to always refer The Yummery and I am a forever customer. Again thank you so much for all your help at the shower Christy.

We stopped by the Yummery on a whim about three days before my daughter's gymnastic themed 8th birthday. Having driven by the bakery daily for months, I was curious, especially given its location. Well, I realized upon approaching the door that my spontaneity,as it often does, had gotten me and my soon-to-be disappointed 7 year old to the bakery 20 minutes too late. However, I have thankfully raised a determined, resolute and steadfast child (aka stubborn and bullheaded) who knocked until a smiling, kind, and enthusiastic woman, undoubtedly the owner, emerged having heard my child through a cacophony of pots, pans, mixers and other equipment used to make the magic that came from that kitchen. She spent 10 minutes brainstorming with my daughter who was thrilled to feel that her cupcake vision was understood. I was thrilled that I had the foresight to have ordered 6 extra, 1 of each of the flavors we ordered. They were ALL delicious, and I look forward to trying the other...
