Used to order from there all the time, it has went completely downhill. Always forgetting something or messing your food up. I used to order from them during lunch but tonight I called them at 8:45pm to ask them what the latest I could place a order for delivery at. The lady who answered proceeded to ask a higher up, and came back to say 9:30pm.
So a little before 9:30 we called to place a order and when the same lady answered the phone she said that they now closed but if I could get there within 10 minutes I could do a pickup. Now I remind you they don't officially close till 10:00pm. When we made it clear that we had called ahead of time and literally the same person who I was speaking to now had been the one to tell me 9:30 she said that no one ever told us that. That we misunderstood. We ended up just getting off the phone but decided to call back to speak to a manager.
To our surprise after a short and mildly hostile conversation with the manager she then told us that she actually was the one who was asked what time they stop deliveries and eventually gave us an opportunity to order then. Well I was worried about my food being messed with and I made that clear. The manager was very strong in her assertion and promise that our food wouldn't be messed with and if anyone was even thinking about it they better also think about their new job.
So ultimately a bit of a stressful situation but the manager did make things right. They have...
Read moreThe girl on the phone in the afternoon hours has been pretty rude during the menu changes they're making & messing up orders. We order usually once a week from here. During one of those orders, we received ( I'm assuming by accident) an outdated menu. Then about 5 days later we ordered again, using that same menu (we had no idea the menus were being revamped, aka we were using an outdated menu). When the food arrived the price was almost 3 dollars more expensive. I called the restaurant and asked about the price change. The girl on the phone stated "Sir, like with every other place in the area we had to raise our prices. That's why." I then said oh i'm sorry, it's just that I got this menu a week ago so I didn't think it was old. The girl talking then said "Sir that's impossible." I said Sorry, then hung up I figured it was a one time thing and she was having a bad day.
Almost a week later I asked for a calzone with some toppings and she called back to make sure I only wanted the toppings and nothing else (which was incorrect). It was then stated for the calzone to also have "white sauce" instead of "red sauce" in the calzone. I cut into the calzone the next day (full from the previous days food), and it contained red sauce, not white sauce. I'm not sure if she's trying to push customers away or not. The food I have brought from this establishment as the time went on the food has got worse.l moved in Dundalk about November and in November to December maybe even January that was the number one place to order from in Dundalk in the area that I moved too. On May 14 I placed an order with Tony’s and the order was mixed up, messed up, and so on and so forth. The morale has went down, and the quality of the food has gotten worse. I placed an order on May 14th, I ordered a fish sub, and they charge me nine dollars for the fish sub, and it’s only five dollars for the fish sandwich. It’s the same amount of fish on the sandwich as it is on the sub for four dollars. I couldn’t believe that they cut the fish in half when I checked my sub.
