My original review: I (black and Hispanic) came last night with a group of coworkers (white) I walked up to the bar where I was ignored, my boyfriend (white) then walked up and was immediately serviced by the blonde bartender working, she asked for our ids checked them, said she was getting our drinks. After 5 min told me specifically she couldn’t give me a drink because the kitchen was closing. I left and followed up by calling 10 min later to ask if they had stopped serving yet. She responded we stop in 10 min. And yes she continued to serve All the white men in the bar as well as my white coworkers. I recorded the call, will report to the BBB. She made it VERY clear I was not welcome there. Edit: For some reason the owner chose to lie rather than take accountability for their employees mistakes To be clear the bartender did check my id and my id IS INFACT proper. I am 24 and have had my id sideways (the proper way) for the last 3 years.

Being honest, I had little confidence in the Seahorse Inn, but I can tell you, the food was awesome. The tuna was perfectly cooked. The salad was very fresh and crispy. The green beans seemed cooked from fresh and I thought the red potatoes were exceptionally seasoned. The crab cake was good, and this is coming from a life long Marylander. The reason I rated the inn as a 4 star (almost a 3) is because of the service. I do not fault Katie the bartender. She had 7 tables & the outside bar. Her only help was a 13 year old busboy who she constantly had to go get after bussing the table herself. This place has really excellent food. Ditch the packets of Ken’s dressing & the butter squares and get some more help. You may become that little gem people are always looking for.

We just wanted to try this place so we stopped in. Sat out on the deck. It was a little warm but a nice atmosphere so we endured. Tried to be patient because the person that eventually came to greet said that they were down 2 servers. There was no one on the deck when we got there. We put in drink offers and the orders for food and appetizers. We were there for over an hour and noticed that two other families that came long after we did had there appetizers and food orders. We asked the server the issue. After a long while she came back to say OUR orders didn’t get in. She didn’t let me pay for our drinks but after being there for that long and seeing everyone eating but us I knew we had to go. I will never go back there! We left. My family was extremely upset and thought our race may have been an issue but I tried quiet that by saying we don’t spend our money where we are not welcome! We left and went to Angie’s Seafood- the service was incredible as well as the food. I’m from Florida but when I come back I will definitely be going back...

The food is excellent . The service is absolutely terrible. They only only pay attention to the people at the bar and whoever they are speaking too. If you wanna grab a drink an eat this isn't a bad spot but if your just going for food an you sit at a table be prepared to be invisible.. still the same your invisible and now the food is starting too go down hill order bowl of cream of crab there's so much cream but barley any crab meat. They also ruined my sons burger when we asked for it to be cooked with bo pink it in .. it comes out and it was still bleeding it looks like all they did was throw it on the grill just the brown the outside then to top it off when we tell them the issue and that he needs a new burger they get him a new burger and they still continue to charge us for the undercooked hamburger.. it was my daughter's birthday dinner and they absolutely just ruined it i think that will be our last time visiting until the food starts going back to the way it was and the service...
