Universal Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

I order from this place A LOT! Tonight I ordered a roast beef platter and kids chicken nuggets. Nuggets and fries were fine my roast beef however is burnt and hard to cut and just isn't enjoyable or good to eat! I called and explained that I was having a hard time even cutting through it with a sharp knife. First guy I talked to was super nice and understanding even said he saw them cook it and thought it was a little overdone himself. He puts me on hold and another man gets in the phone yelling at me telling me he's the one who made my food and that I can cut through it to which I replied no I can't it's very hard to cut through it's burnt and grissily. He proceeded to scream at me that I was wrong so I told him I'll NEVER and I mean NEVER order from this place AGAIN!!! It's only 2 mins from me but never again that's not how you treat your customers. I wish I could add...

This place is all around great. Always delivered on time stated, usually earlier. Drivers are always curtious and respectful and gracious. The amount of food you get is larger than most other shops and for a lower price. The wings are huge and the sauce is very good( could put a little more on though ) subs are pretty good and big in size. You get a lot of fries for what they charge. The stromboli's are monster. Tried a few of the pasta dishes and like most everything else to order they are a large portion and taste pretty good. I always add special instructions and they always accommodate them. The only issue I have is that I order online ( Grubhub) and it doesn't allow you to add multiple extras of an item. For instance, I ordered a stromboli and wanted extra extra pepperoni but would only let me extra. I would highly...

If you’ve ever read any of my other reviews, you will find I am always on the lookout for a good cheesesteak. I think if someone asked me what I’d pick if I could only eat one think for the rest of my life, it would be a close call between cheesesteak and pizza. I stopped off at this location ( next to an exercise place- aren’t they always!) and ordered a cheesesteak according to my specifications and cream of crab. The cream of crab tasted a little fishy and had a high flour taste with a lot of bland. That’s even after I added a touch of the customary sherry. Overall, not a soup I’d ever get from this business again. HOWEVER, the cheesesteak was great! I wish I had gotten the bigger one. The people were pleasant as well.
