I wanted to to give an update on the Joppa town wendys we decided to give them new chances they did okay in the beginning after their remodel. On February 09,2024 me and my family are in at the restaurant the amount of time we waited before we had a cashier take our order was over 25 minutes waiting at the registers if the long wait at the registers with no one there were bad enough I picked up on the restaurants cleanliness as well the floors were filthy and the food trays that they give you to carry your food were sticky as hell a major concern I had was for my little brother who was with us who has a lot of food allergies could have very well had a reaction from touching the trait alone.
Today on March 11th 2024 me and my grandmother went to order Wendy's again through the drive-thru we ordered a kids meal and a Dave's double with no cheese no pickles. When I got home I notice that the sandwich plain and had pickles which was not what i ordered I tried to call the restaurant to let them know there was a mistake and that they gave me someone else's sandwich however no one at the restaurant would answer their phone.
I really don't like to meet complaints about restaurants entirely unless they've truly made mistakes I noticed that another issue is that the workers seem to be overworked they seem to be understaffed and don't have enough help at the location and trying to manage doordash orders on top of walking orders and drive through orders the employees currently cannot keep up under their short staffed demands and this is a issue that I've noticed between Wendy's and many other locations as well as other fast food chains. They need to hire somebody just to do doordash orders and phone calls.
I recommend do not go to this location unless you have no choice
We Went to Wendy's in Joppatowne Maryland I went through the Drive thru and had ordered a cheese burger kids meal, a Dave's double no cheese or pickles medium meal, a jr cheeseburger deluxe and 6 piece nuggets. The cashier was really nice and respectful after we got our food I checked and it looked like we had everything went I got the food home 10 mins later we noticed many mistakes. 1 the cheese burger kids meal burger was dry and over cooked looked the texture felt like it had been cooked a day before and reheated, the jr cheeseburger deluxe looked the same as the kids meal burger with how it was cooked. The Dave's double with no cheese no pickles I ordered ended up being daves single with cheese and the.cooks put the wrong burger patty on the burger, the burger patty that was put on my Dave's burger was the same tiny burger you get in the kids meal also was way over cooked and didn't even fit the bun.
This is not the first time we have had issues with this location they have have a history of forgetting or messing up food orders. This was the 7th time our order was not up to speck. We stopped using the location for over a year they had gotten better but have slipped back into the old ways.
I did try to call the store to talk to a manager since what we paid for did not reflect what we got but no one answered the phone at all. We have given them many chances I would highly advise to go to the Edgewood or Abingdon locations they are prone to less mistakes at those locations.
I hate leaving negative reviews for location and I will give multiple chances to a point and I really was not impressed today with the products we received it was not worth the money we paid...
Read more1st off, to be honest, I was already expecting a difficult visit as soon as I saw that only the drive thru was open due to renovations/construction on the building. Normally I would go inside to make sure that I was clear with my order and everything was correct ( since I had a coupon, and someone else was with me paying separately, who also had a coupon.) It's my fault for assuming the worst. I have to say that both myself and my passenger were so impressed with the customer service, that I had to post this review, and he told the employee that he gave us extraordinary customer service and thanked him profusely. This employee, was VICTOR. Much to our surprise when we pulled around to be greeted by the face behind the voice, he was a young man. Nowadays if I'm being honest, customer service has seriously diminished into mediocre at best, and many times people are even apathetic or just plain rude. I hate to say it, but SOME of the young people today can be very rude and downright disprectful. VICTOR was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He made everything so simple, and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him or being bothersome. He kept a wonderful, friendly smile, and from the very beginning until the very last moment, he remained focused, professional, yet extremely friendly and helpful. He definitely portrayed fantastic leadership qualities, and fulfilled his role quickly and very efficiently. I will definitely return to Joppa Farm Road Wendy's in Joppa, just based on our experience with VICTOR. Thank you for your exemplary service, and making our visit perfect. Read moreWorst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. The employee taking my order had a terrible attitude and showed it. She was yelling and very unhappy she had to take orders. I saw multiple people get in line and wait for a response from the speaker and did end up just leaving due to no response. I was waiting in a parking spot for my food because I was told they were understaffed, and it would be a while. There were roughly 4 other cars waiting next to me. It took 30 minutes to get my meal, and when I received it, they forgot my drink and my ghost pepper fries. I also was missing an entire frosty off the order and receipt. I had to go into the restaurant to get my drink, which i had to wait while this same woman finished texting whomever. She just handed me a cup that I had to go fill myself. The food that I did receive was not bad, hence the 2 star rating. I then called wendys to relay this information , and they responded with a thank you. No offer to give me the missing fries because I didn't realize until after I walked out with my drink and didn't want to go inside again once I realized they were also missing.
