Let me just start off by saying, I was expecting to be backed up today. I had woken up and tried to defecate, but could only get a few tough nuggets out. I blame it on the lower then normal fiber intake.
Boy, let me tell you what fixed that, this Wendy's number 1 combo. I went there a little before lunch rush and had a good tasting number 1 combo, with sea salt fries, and a drink. Cashier was very friendly, providing extra napkins without being asked, and finished my meal really enjoying it at work. 2 hours later, I tried to fart but noticed a distinct burning sensation. I left my desk, and headed for the nearest toilet. No sooner had I sat then I realized my sprinting had saved my pants. I grappled the sides of the stall as the last two compacted morning nuggets were fired at maximum velocity through the O-ring, as they were in front of pure pressure-jet diarrhea. What followed could only be described as complete evacuation of the bowels. My first instinct after was to look for a diesel can to burn the horrid soup of the now all-brown receptacle. After walking to my desk, I realized the blast-pattern had marked to my mid-cheeks, and I should have been more liberal in the areas papered. I used the extra napkins to wipe, chucked it in the trash and tried to recover my disposition.
While it was a shock to receive a colon cleansing from a fast food restaurant, it was such a thorough one and relatively cheap that it earns 5 stars. Unfortunately this business purports to sell normal fast-food and it is not that, so it loses 3 stars. Target your market better and possibly inform prospective customers of the colon cleansing and i'll give a...
Read moreJust left the restaurant and very happy to escape. After multiple attempts to be polite and appreciative Cynthia, who was currently working the cash register, proceeded to make us feel almost uncomfortable. She’s clearly having a bad day, which we all have, but taking it out on customers who are trying to be nice is unacceptable. Of multiple incidents during on visit, two of primary note were when we asked for our food to go and offered to bag it even and were met with annoyance and attitude. We let her know the lids were out of stock for both medium and large in the lobby and we got a very rude sigh of disgust and a flustered “…yeah we know, just wait,” as she somewhat stormed off. Look, I’ve had a pretty awful day myself which is why I’m having breakfast for an early dinner, and still took the time to be polite, kind and apologetic for needing my food bagged so I can take it to my parents who couldn’t get it on their own, so you could have done the same and been polite and tried to muster some sort of decency to someone doing the same for you. The food tastes great though, thanks Wendy’s! You may want to invest in customer service training...
Read moreI went through the drive thru for dinner, with an order for 5 people, when I got home I was missing a meal for one of my kids. I called, admittedly agitated. A woman named Rebecca (I hope I spelled it right) answered the phone having just walked in for her shift. I told her what happened...no, I word vomited at her what happened! She apologized, she commiserated with me, she turned my entire attitude around. Her kindness was completely unexpected, and with how I had started our conversation, I sure didn't deserve her kindness. I drove back to pick up the meal and she was waiting for me at the drive thru speaker and had one of her employees point me to a parking spot to wait so they could make it for me fresh and hot. (I didn't catch that gentleman's name, but he has dreadlocks and he brought my meal out to me both times and he is seriously the sweetest!) This experience turned my night around! I got a delicious dinner, and a much needed lesson in patience and grace. Thank you Great Mills Road...
