Gave this location a few times before I edited my previous review, was 5 stars. Seriously needs to be randomly dropped in on by corporate. We had to retrieve our food ice creams from the kitchen window ourselves. Out of all the employees I saw, only two were wearing hair restraints. Watched one employee blow open the glove he put on, this defeats the purpose of sanitary food handling practices. The glove is now contaminated before they put it on. The employee who made the ice creams (hot fudge sundae and blizzard) we ordered was talking on the phone not paying attention to what they were doing. The blizzard I received was blended so bizzarly, so unevenly, and so much that the top was like a milk shake and the bottom was undisturbed ice cream from the machine. When we went to the dining room to "enjoy" our "treats" we had a difficult time finding a table that was not dirty. Read moreWhen ordering with the app there are many times when the Maryville MO location doesn't have what you are ordering. They don't update the app to let it know that they don't have it. When you pull up to the window they want you to pick something else for the same price. They do not know how to cancel an item from the order nor do they know how to cancel the order. Either they choose to be technology challenged or they are lazy and choose not to update the app when they don't have an item and they don't want to do a cancellation so they pressure you into getting something else that is of the same price. Your order won't be changed, it will still show the original item but they will give you something else. If you cancel your order you drive away and hope they can cancel it later since they didn't know how to do it when you are at the window.
Contacting DQ via their website is IMPOSSIBLE. It's clear they don't want to get involved with their franchises. If you are going to create an order, call them first to make sure they have it, then use the app, or you will be...
Read moreSo I asked my husband to go to Maryville Dairy Queen to just get us some lunch and he had no problem ordering it but as soon as he got to the window..things went badly. (This was on 12/16/21around 2 or so) The women at the drive thru window was disrespectful, and made him wait 20 minutes until he actually got everything even though the food was sitting at the window ready to be handed over, proceeding to laugh with other co- workers. The food was ok but cold when he finally got home and my blizzard was totally melted. She proceeded to also flip the blizzard upside down as DQ does and the contents already being a hit melted poured out but she still gave it to him Instead of fixing it.
