Yesterday was a total wash as far as Sunrise is concerned. The first encounter with them was last month after driving a few hours to arrive to see the store was closed. Computer problems was the reason. Yesterday the company still has computer issues. After arriving and getting checked in, I was informed I would be “helped” by a bud tender. She must have been the floor manager, constantly barking orders and NOT paying attention to my transaction. Next all the items (310.00 total) would not ring up. I informed her I had a golf engagement to attend and this was taking too long. A total of 3 people tried to get this through. No luck.. now as a stock holder in the parent company, I would expect better. Not to be. So I close with this, Yesterday I had to go to a competitor to fill an order. Poor customer support and service, and absolutely no compensation for my forfeiture of the fees at the course, and I left Sunrise a second time empty handed. Pathetic and all that work their need in depth management training. Calling my broker this morning. UPDATE 31 May 2023 A few days after this situation, the CEO of Agri-Genesis Robert Pease phoned me to find out what had happened. It was explained and an offer to return and to make the situation right. No there was no refund of missed golf fees but a discount of goods to help make things right. Told him it would not be in the immediate future, but I would think about it. He said to contact the manager prior to arrival and it would help expedite things. Fast forward to today. I called the location and asked to speak to the manager. After a wait, I was informed he couldn’t be bothered as he was in a meeting. I explained to the young lady the situation and it was kind of important to speak to him personally. At that point I was informed he would call me back. Funny my number wasn’t given. At this point the person said “thank you and have a nice day”. Yep dismissed once again. No conversation with management and I really feel persona non grata with Sunrise. Hey I get it. I pointed out the problem and it’s apparent it hasn’t been addressed. I really think Mr. Pease had great intentions but his staff isn’t following his instructions. So at this point I contacted Mr Pease once more… no reply. Crickets. I really wanted to amend the review and get things squared. And get some decent product. To no avail, so let your conscience be your guide when going there....
Read moreI've shopped dispensaries all over for over a decade. This is one of the best I've ever been too. I don't know what anyone is talking about dry product. Been going in there every week since they went rec. Never got dry buds. Their selection on bud itself isn't always overflowing but they have the cheapest and most plentiful dabs of anywhere I've seen in MO. Most places are charging $50-$70 a g for dabs. Sunrise usually has a few good options in the $25-$35 a g range. Alot of the staff seem very knowledgeable and they're all friendly. I see people complaining about waits even for online ordering. That's because they can only have so many people back there at one time. So just because you ordered online, doesn't mean there wont be ppl on the floor already when you get there. Yes, you'll have to wait for them to finish and leave. They wont kick customers out so you can pick up yours first. I also saw a complaint about deals and not being told about them. Will agree with that. Been so confused on how deals work. Is it for med only? Does rec get the same deals? Any deals. No one really explains that. Never asked to be fair. All in all though this is a great dispensary to shop at. I highly recommend their in house products, farmer g, and flora farms. Those are my consistent go tos and I've never been...
Read moreMy sister and I came into this morning to do our monthly stock up. As I’m sure some of you would understand. lol we’ve been to a Sunrise before but never as amazing as this location! I was helped by a beautiful young lady named Jess. She was so friendly, caroling, gentle, attentive, relatable, but most importantly comfortable. She was so patient with me when I anxiously recounted my cash as if basic math left my brain(it really did) , and eased me as a tiny xiety nado starting to form. She truly was amazing, and will honestly only come back to this location for our goodies, solely based off this experience! The gentleman manager was absolutely amazing and ensured I was able to receive proper discounts or promotions, as well as the other young lady who was able to clear up any discount questions in the beginning. I was worried for my sister as she’s new to consuming cannabis, and i wanted to be by her side, my anxiety was quickly eased when I overheard all her questions being answered. It was also so nice to see how everyone flowed with each other, and communicated. The vibe was vibin! Our experience was absolutely amazing and I’m so excited for our next trip! 10/5...
