Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Maryville

There are many scooters available to me in this area, and this is typically my scooters of choice. Prior to this evening, I have had NOTHING BUT WONDERFUL service and interactions with the staff at this location. However the woman who served me at the window this evening was extremely rude in the single interaction we had at the window. I do feel it is important that I provide some key information: -I did place a mobile order at 7:45, and arrived at the location/speaker at 7:51. -I have and still do work in the customer service industry for 5 years, and I do understand that it can be extremely frustrating when people come right before close. HOWEVER, I never direct or make these frustrations known to the customer (we are still open after all) There was another car behind me, so I was not the sole reason they were not able to close

When I arrived at the window, I waited for about 5 minutes, which I have no issue with. The issue comes when I am handed my last drink(s) and she says “sorry for the wait, but we do close in literally 1 minute so.” Already feeling bad because i personally know how annoying it can be, I reply “I know I’m so sorry” and she says “yeah. You’re good.” It was very obvious that she was annoyed by me (these are the only words she said) and was trying to make it known that I was an inconvenience to her. I genuinely understand how this is frustrating, but I feel that she was very unnecessarily rude, not to mention she still had to serve someone behind me. I genuinely love this location and have had the employees be so kind, which is why this experience stood out. We have visited this location twice. The first time was on Tuesday and ordered a carmelicious, muffin and breast cancer cookie. Everything was fine except the cookie was almost frozen. I didn't realize that or I wouldn't have ordered it. We visited again today and ordered just a carmelicious. I went to take a drink and it tasted like she dumped her perfume or lotion in it. I ordered my drink 3 times. Maple bourbon cold brew. Got to the window and they handed me some monstrocity with whipped crew. I ordered the cold brew. They honestly took off the whipped cream and poured it into another cup and added cold foam. They never listen at this location. Half the time they don’t give you what yin order.
