5 stars for authentic mexican tacos at a great value! Alright, I'm sure we've all had "authentic" tacos and we can tell the difference between a freshly home made taco over an amateur wanna be mexican taco. This hole in a wall (legit) makes the most amazing mexican tacos! It's as if all the abuelitas (grandmothers) are making the tacos in the back with love. :) Everything was freshly made and tomaste was flavorful and juicy. The overall feel and experience is as if you're in a little pueblo in mexico lol I'm not being mean but it's very true. The parking lot is dirt and Rick, the outside has seen better days and the inside smells as if cats are around. Although it smells terrible inside, it is clean. I will say that if it wasn't for the food and the inexpensive of it, this would've probably been a bad review. I did order the tamales and although good, it wasn't delicious. I won't be ordering that at this location. So this was disappointing but the tacos definitely made up for it. The employees were very warm and hospitable. They were the typical hispanics that treat others warmly when you're in their house. Can't wait to go back to eat some good tacos at a great price! There are many authentic mexican tacos in the neighborhood but this place by far is much more affordable. You get more for your hard...

I brake for authentic Mexican!

That’s the bumper sticker I should have. Luckily there was no one behind me when I saw this place last minute and hit the brakes hard to not miss it. Something told me it was going to be good and it was! Two carne asada tacos, two carnita tacos and a flan latter and I was back on the road in no time. Simple quite workers, clean place with good A/C and no meat market smell, no smells at all as a matter of fact. The kitchen is behind one door that must be vented to the outside pretty well. The parking lot is rough but the building looks kept up. Oh and they have the very modern small business iPad register with a print out AND they took my America Express (seems like a lot of places don’t just because they charge 1% more on transactions). They are not worried about the 9 cents they lost on my 9 dollar meal. A++ BTW I tried taking a picture of my food but it was gone buy the time I took...

I'm not sure if Mi Tierra is authentic Mexican food or how to determine what qualifies as authentic. I do know I have never been disappointed in the 5 or so years my family and I have been dining there. Seems every place has off days where things just aren't what you're used to. Not the case with MI Tierra, a model of consistency. Their meats are always tender. They have 2 sauces, a spicy red and mild green both flavorful. I like their unique selection of imported beverages(no alcohol). A nice, quiet place with nice people and good food. A little more expensive than fast food but a much better experience. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive we make to get there. I never knew I liked radish with my tacos...

The place is dingy and disorganized. The meat on my quesadilla and my wife's burrito was almost unrecognizable. We were stared at by other patrons as though they didn't want us in there since we weren't of Spanish decent. You have to leave the dining area and walk outside of the building to use a dirty little bathroom. We love Mexican food but won't be going back there.

my absolute favorite place. as you can see i eat here a lot. this is my favorite mexican restaurant for tacos. i’ve been coming to him since before he opened this place. my go to is the torta de asada and carne asada. the tacos are a 15/10, fast service and most importantly the flavor is unmatched. the only downfall is you might eat until you can’t breathe
