Wow, Wildfire is seriously good pizza—maybe the best on the Cape. They have two huge wood fire ovens which make the crust the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. There are so many creative options for toppings I wouldn’t have thought of (plus all the classics). I had the Figawi (Fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta, Fig Jam, Garlic, Prosciutto, Arugula, Balsamic Glaze Drizzle) and it was incredible.
My friends had a calzone with caramelized onions, mushrooms, spinach, roasted red peppers and more (it was massive!) and a meatball sub—both gave two big thumbs up. They bake the sub rolls fresh daily and they’re huge. We shared the wedge fries which were crispy with a little bit of spice. If you can save room for it, you have to try Grannie’s cheesecake (or take a slice home). It is phenomenal.
The space is very cool with a 1950’s/60’s car/guitar vibe and lots of authentic vintage items. They put a lot of thought into the design, down to the smallest detail (the women’s room has a vintage toy dump truck to hold the extra TP! :)
The owners obviously care a lot about the quality of the food and the customer experience. Definitely check it out, you will not be...
Read moreTried the meatlovers and the bbq chicken pizzas tonite-delish! Absolutely LOVE the chew and taste of the crust! Sturdy enuf to hold up the toppings but soft enuf that u can easily get thru it. The toppings are fresh and great ratios of toppings-u get great flavor with each bite! Also, while they have "normal" pizzas, they also have artisan pizzas that sound yummy and u can always choose ur own. I asked about the subs-was told the size is about a foot and the sub rolls are made there fresh-cant wait to go back to try next time! They have Hightop tables, booths, and a bar facing the ovens and prep area. The place reminds me of a 50's diner-lots of chrome, but a very modern flair in the black, grey, and white color scheme. Model cars, license plates memorabilia and guitars with 80's albums round out the decor. Very nice place to hang! The staff are very nice and helpful, all knew answers to questions and I felt very welcomed. They do take cards, but there is a sign mentioning that cash is best since there's no fee to pay-bring cash to save and while the prices may seem high-the quality of the food and the attitudes of the staff are well worth...
Read moreOk!! Let me start by saying I get my gas at this gas station regularly and I can't believe I have NEVER gone in there. I don't normally write reviews..but I couldn't not say something here. I didn't feel like cooking tonight.. thought I might finally give the place a try (check out their website and menu.. that's what convinced me) so I ordered a small pizza to pick up on my way home from work. Not only is it the best pizza I've had since I moved to the Cape a year and a half ago.. it is the best pizza I have had in years .. since the old brick oven pizzas at Santarpios in Boston or Franca's in Waltham. It smelled amazing in there.. called them after I ate at home just to thank them! Don't let the gas station throw you! 5 star pizza out of a gas station.. makes me love them that much more!! Looking forward to trying their specialty...
