Naukabout Brewery and Taproom — Restaurant in Mashpee

We really enjoyed every beer and seltzer we had, great flavors and options. The outside space was perfect as it was a beautiful day out. The problem was the food and while it was semi rectified it sort of crashed the momentum of our day. I reached out right before we stopped by (we’re from out of state and only there for a quick weekend) and asked if they were serving food. I got a yes response and perfect we headed right over. As soon as we arrive we’re told no soups for the day which automatically eliminates half of our order and something we assumed would be quick to start with. Ok to the next we’ll take some brats. Ok only one left we overhear because they forgot to pick up more. We then ask to do pretzel bites and if we can have that last brat on a pizza. We order and hang out for a while waiting to hear our number. 30 min pass which seems long time for these items so we check in as we grab another beer. We’re told our pizza was in the works but they forgot our pretzels. Those come out super quick thankfully. Another 30 goes by no pizza, we check again oh we forgot your pizza we’ll get it out now it’ll take just 15 minutes. Which at this point we still needed more food or we would have just left. Everything was delicious when it came out and our pizza was comped which was a great gesture, but it was just the sort of disregard each time we asked and lack of awareness. We ended up staying much longer than planned and enjoying multiple drinks so it was a little difficult to forget us. I put my rating on top, for those lost in reviews! I’m not very eloquent, but if you enjoy spending a day at different Breweries, PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE! First Naukabout Brewery & Taproom, is a fresh upgrade from most older Breweris. That makes a huge difference, along with a great outsidecasual area. It’s so impressive because, it’s not just a bunch op people bumping into each other, it got a good flow in and out. Ok ok I was lucky enough to enjoy a few of the early packaging run. EACH CAN (giant can) has all the stats written on the can. Date brewed, alcohol %, and add a 1/2 dozen more the Master Brewer needs, ( printed now). The entire thing is professionally printed, and looks great. I’d say I’m quite the Brewery connoisseur, I’m also a really picky drinker. This Brewery provides not only light to dark but I spent my day there, and NOT ONE TIME DID I CATCH A DIP IN TASTE: I NEVER GOT a single beer that wasn’t consistent! Granted I realize as we consume more,( BTW, I think you’ll enjoy the Alcohol %), beers and I say to that, I’m a veteran at 57, I GURANTEE my words. They of coarse have food, and food w/ beers combos, and it was right up my alley ….delicous!. Btw did I tell you.its in MASHPEE! You get it all, great weather, decent traffic, next to new building, and the BEER IS EASILY A PRIZE WINNING,(IMHO) Contender. And A- gourmet prepared food. This place is above and beyond amazing. We have brought many out of town guests visiting from craft brewery hot spots around San Diego to Naukabout. The feedback we have received from those with high standards and best of class breweries in their backyard is that this is a top tier brewery and I agree. The beer is always of the best quality. We have done our fair share (plus some) of sampling the goods and never felt disappointed (Had Virtual: Hair Cut and Salmon Pants just this evening, both spectacular), the staff is not just welcoming, but knowledgeable and they make you feel at home. Sometimes when you walk out of the brewery you will be greeted by a friendly bearded fellow. He tends to ask how your experience was and seeks to find how they can improve, but also looks to get to know his customers on a personal level (this is one of the founders, generally). As far as breweries go, I would compare this one to Apple as they provide the best product, care about the customer experience, and have employees who are living the culture that keeps patrons (neighbors near and far) looking forward to a return trip.

At a loss for what to get my husband for his birthday, I swung by Naukabout to curate a custom case of his favorite beers and get him a gift card. They were able to accommodate me even though they were all hands on deck canning. It was really cool to be able to gift him a case of beer born on his birthday.
