What can I say? I eat out approximately 320 days per year because of work. This hidden treasure is nestled in small town middle America waiting to wow YOU. This was a most amazing meal. One of the top 3 restaurants I have visited in my entire life in America. The top Italian restaurant in our nation by a mile. Our server, I’m having a difficult time remembering her name, was 100% on point. She was incredibly busy and incredibly attentive to all of her customers. I will have to call and ask her name because she deserves credit, as well. If you want an experience that leaves you wanting more then this is the place. Just a meal, date night, birthdays, celebrations of all kinds, this is a premier venue. We had 3 people at our table and ordered at least 7 different dishes from pasta standards to ribeye steak. The soups were, bar none, the best I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere. All made from scratch. Everything was prepared to perfection and the place was packed. So this is their standard of performance. I understand this facility is run by three brothers. Fantastic job creating and managing this prime example of what any kind of restaurant should be. We will definitely be back for more. I don’t say this often but I love...
Read moreWe stopped on a whim on our way through and are very glad we did. Service was fabulous (thank you Kiley!). And food was both good and plentiful. We started with the caprese salad with a lovely balsamic reduction and the addition of pickled red peppers. Not enough fresh basil but still delicious. They had a fun Jekyll and gin drink for Halloween we enjoyed. And the fabulous light and airy pull apart garlic bread arrived just in time to mop the caprese platter. My hubby ordered a lovely tortellini in a creamy Alfredo sauce. I could taste the nutmeg but it wasn't overwhelming. I had the salmon piccata (lemon caper sauce) with spaghetti. The salmon was grilled perfectly. I prefer angel hair with this dish and the spaghetti was fine. We debated dessert and ended with a deeply fudgy chocolate cake.
There is ample parking including more handicapped spaces than usual possibly catering to an older crowd. (You will still need help to get the door.)
We were there just after 8pm on a Saturday night and it was still steady business. But the place is large and did not feel crowded.

Read moreI was very excited to come here for my birthday, but was pretty disappointed in the service. I had called ahead to reserve a table for 9 for dinner at 6. Upon arriving our drink orders were taken right away, however after that nothing was refilled. We were here for an hour and 45 mins and not once were waters or fountain drinks refilled. After food was being handed out I had to wait 3 mins after everyone else to receive my food. When the food came out the waiter noticed that my lasagna plate was given to the child and all he had for me was the kids plate of lasagna. Upon receiving the check I noticed on the bill I was still charged for an adult plate of lasagna (despite only receiving half of that). I truly enjoy this restaurant, and have been going there since they opened, but was very disappointed in how they served a large table. Our server was very inattentive by just ignoring us until the moments he had to come over. I will go back, because the food was delicious, however I don't believe I will ever return with more than 3 people, or for...
