City Limits Mason — Restaurant in Mason

I'm never really the type to leave a bad review, I despise entitled "yelpers," honestly. But this is the third time I've come to dine in and left disappointed. First of all, our server was very apathetic towards bussing our table at all which left both my partner and I feeling like our dining area was cluttered. I don't know if maybe she could have been limiting her bussing because she's about 8 months pregnant and might have weight restrictions or something, but regardless she was chatting with everyone and their mother resulting in a cluttered table, my soup being cold, and a bad impression. The music playing was all mid to early 2000's hip hop, and pop music. Which wouldn't be so unbearable if this was Edru's and it was actually 2007 again. Now, whatever they did with the chicken on my taco salad legitimately made both me and my partner gag. I don't know if it was boiled, or maybe pre-packaged but for a restaurant that big, I don't understand why they would do either. I was pleased to see how cheap the drink specials are, and before my bad experience, had planned to come back, order some drinks, and bowl. However, I'm 100% certain now the only reason drinks are so cheap is because the food and service is sub-par. Another previous time, I came in with my parents and we waited well over an hour and a half for our food, and made a complaint and the server was very rude and used people ordering 15 pizzas as an excuse. I've worked plenty of cook jobs, and in casual dining and I would be ashamed to work at a restaurant that provides such a mediocre dining experience. I am never coming back here, and I would 11/10 recommend dining elsewhere in Mason to anyone who reads...

Great atmosphere, great food and the best is this younger guy that I have had the pleasure to get to know over the course of my grandson first year bowling, Mr. Cody! What a genuinely great worker, and great sense of humor, we need more of that in this world, he always brings a smile to our family, much appreciated! Thanks City Limits, keep doing the great job you do!

Edited: Had ordered our first bowling ball for our grandson through Strike Zone (located inside city limits), unfortunately we were warned after our purchase to avoid doing business for valid reasons concerning professionalism and skill level (drilling). Sadly, we encountered a very poor experience with engraving and what could be simply handled was not. Brenda who is the wife/owner had a terrible abrasive approach, accusatory and incredibly combative when questioned. We requested a full refund and will definitely take our business elsewhere. The owner of the City Likits was spoken to about the situation. Shame to allow business owners to work out of a space within a business and have this type of reputation with customers and fail to address the complaints adequately. Not good...

City Limits has the worst staff I've ever seen. Last night my girlfriend and I went to bowl and have dinner, after waiting to be seated for over 5 minutes with about 10 people total in the restaurant we decided to seat ourselves because and I quote the bartender "there's about to be a brawl in the kitchen". After taking the initiative, the old hag with purple hair threw our menus at us and walked away without saying a word. We ordered our food and it came out pretty quickly. The wings were only half covered in sauce and were hard as rocks... oh and I forgot to mention we had to ask for silverware twice before getting up and grabbing it ourselves. The wait staff here is the worst I've ever seen. We didn't tip and I hope that she knows she was being a grade A c*. Anyways we went to rent bowling shoes next and the young lady working the counter said 'what do you want' when we walked up. Needless to say we just left without giving that shhole anymore money. If I ever return I plan on being rude back. This is the third awful experience I've had...
