I ate here once. First impression: the woman that seated us was dressed in black and absolutely covered with dried, nasty food spills. Dried. It was an appetite killer. Do be clean. I sat right there and watched my onion rings die in the window. My server informed me they can only run out their own orders. What? That thinking went bye bye in the 80’s. Food is to go out instantly. Onion rings were frozen jobs that were cold and greasy. Then I learned this server was at the tail end of a 10 hour shift. Most restaurants these days know servers are burnt out after 6 hours. Shifts that long are not allowed. This place is run like it’s 20 years ago. Looks like a 60 year old woman is in charge of bullying a bunch of teenagers. I saw labor laws violated. Health code violations. Skanky salad bar, the oil is clearly not changed with frequency, and this is a chaotic crew , being led by a hot head that loses control. Whoever owns this establishment might want to consider some sweeping changes. Terrible service + terrible food+ terrible management. Customers have choices. This was beyond...
Read moreIt was meh.. but the pictures I post it will explain it all. The Belgian waffle was dry & barely had any toppings& I had to ask for the whip topping to be put on it even 🤦 bacon was completely burnt to a crisp that when you touched it it just crumbled everywhere hash browns had a strange taste along with giant black pieces.(it looked like burnt stuff off of the griddle or stove mixed in with the hash browns🤢) wanted to buy a pie, I asked what kind of berry pie it was and the worker/ waiter couldn't even tell me that.. I mean seriously if you're working there shouldn't you be able to answer the questions your customers ask & and did not even attempt to go ask one of the other workers what kind of berries were in the pie..will not try this particular big boys again ever! My friend had a cheeseburger & and asked for grilled onions (not onion rings grilled onions on top of the burger) and did not get that & fries without salt & there was less than a handful of fries with that burger it was actually kind...
Read moreLet me start with; The fish is Soooo Good!!! Better than even Red Lobster's fish! It is soft, flakey and moist! We drive about 40 minutes just for their fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 basket! It comes with fries (of course) hushpuppies and coleslaw. The filets come in different sizes, so you may get 2 -4 pieces depending on their sizes. If you don't like coleslaw, the fresh all you can eat fruit, soup and salad bar is only $5.95 when added on to your meal. (Alone I think it is $11.95 or $12.95 as of this post.) And don't forget the pretzel bites and Strawberry Shakes!!! Oh so delicious! Warning... you might need a bigger table for all the yummy 😋 food, especially if you have more than 2 people dining! And all of the times that we have gone to the Mason, Michigan Big Boy, the table service has been absolutely exceptional! It's well worth the drive, money, effort and time in my opinion! Check it out for yourself and enjoy! (In the attached picture, I think the basket is minus 1 piece of fish 😋 cuz I think...
