Food at this restaurant is 10/10 highly recommend. I don’t recommend the waitress Bethany. She was not present most of the time during our visit there, water was brought our one time and the second time we had to ask our busser(Michaela) to bring us some. We also asked Bethany to bring us extra bread and as time went on we didn’t receive any so again we asked our wonderful busser Michaela to bring us some and it was our in minutes! Amazing. By the time we received our first and only round of drinks, because Bethany didn’t ask if we needed another, our drinks were warm and ice has melted. We also made it known that it was someone’s birthday at our table and asked for a cake, cake was never brought out. Witnessed her being hostile towards Michaela the busser. Bethany was on the patio near us a few times and didn’t even look our way or ask if we needed anything.
I do want to mention how WONDERFUL Michaela was, she should be a waitress. She was doing many jobs out of her description. Was present way more than our “waitress” Bethany, brought our boxes, the check, water and extra bread. Even checked on us numerously, as a WAITRESS should. We asked for boxes and the check and she said she was going to send Bethany out with it, we didn’t see Bethany at all during the end while we were paying., Michaela wound up bringing the boxes and check out. Michaela did everything and was super sweet, friendly and present.
All in all, Michaela was amazing and need a raise or promotion. The food is amazing, request that Bethany ISNT...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that I’m not rating the food, I’m just rating the experience. I’ve never had an experience quite like this. For context, my friends and I are POCs. We walk in to the hostess station and the host asks my friend, “Can I help you?” and there’s nothing wrong with that question in itself. However, the manner in which it was delivered made us feel like she was questioning our presence there. Do I walk up to hostess stations for fun? Is it a hobby of mine? No, I go when I’m hungry and want to be seated.
What happens next? We are led to our table which by the way was dirty. So we then had to stand there as they cleaned it. I mean that’s fine, but like don’t they usually clean up the table before you get there?
Ok so hold on to your socks because I was left speechless with what happened next. My friends and I sit down and tbh I felt that all around me was an older crowd and the vibe wasn’t exactly what we’d had in mind. So we weren’t exactly feeling the ambience. After taking a look at the menu, we decide we’re gonna go eat somewhere else.
I carefully collect the menus and walk back to the hostess and tell her,
“I’m so sorry, I think we’re gonna eat somewhere else.”
“Oh, too expensive?” She responds.
I was in shock, “Where is John Quiñones?” I thought to myself. This has got to be the latest episode of WWYD?
But no, I promptly exited and took a moment to collect myself and cool off.
So will I ever come bring my business here again? No thank you....
Read moreHello I came here today For Fathers Day with My hopes Very High, because I’ve been here before with my two teenage boys and they loved it! Today I’m sorry to say that it was the complete opposite! Services absolutely sucked My waitress was not Vocal, I didn’t get my bread basket, wasn’t asked what type of salad dressing I would like, and the vinaigrette that came with the salad was far over powering! First drink was the Swedish fish was undrinkable, 2nd drink espresso martini was on Point the 3rd on was a failure the alcohol was too over powering and couldn’t taste the espresso! The Raspberry Wheat Beer wasn’t cold, and nor was the class… appetizers the chicken potstickers two overpowering with lemon grass Instead of being seared pan seared the tops were overdone and crunchy! Main course chicken parm and shrimp scampi were both equally terrible chicken cutlets the center was raw, the shrimp scampi should be shrimp and more the 3 and not crab meat? After talking to owner and chef, I thought things would be better but weren’t! And after a 115$ bill I’d expect a lot more not the same as it once was! And I am a executive Chef for Carlos Vega, and his company Jersey Italian Gravy for 5 years! Needless to say I will not return to 2 Rivers Grill, seating not the same, waitress sucked, and food way under par! Only good thing was the Crème brûlée that was Absolutely on Point!!! But I won’t return! I’ll go to the Demic in...
