Wingo's Grill — Restaurant in Matewan

Came in to Matewan while riding the Hatfield McCoy trails. The wonderful smell of BBQ smoking in the whisky barrel still smoker made our lunch choice super easy. We both had the pulled pork sandwich and fries and amazing is not the word. Perfect pulled pork with phenomenal house-made sauces to shoes from on a toasted bun. . The fries were crispy and hot. Portion sizes were very generous for the reasonable prices. Server was super friendly, the restaurant and bathrooms clean and the atmosphere (love those old wood floors) made this a perfect spot to enjoy...

We wanted to experience true southern BBQ while in WV and Wingos absolutely delivered!

We visited last week with our friends, 2 other couples and their children while out on an ATV tour with Leo New. Everything our group ordered was delicious, and I think the most fun part of our visit was that we ALL enjoyed our meals enough to share with eachother, LOL.
