This is officially our new favorite brunch spot! Food and service are truly amazing! Scott was our server this past weekend, and he made us feel like we’d been coming here for years. We got the zucchini fritter Benedict, a Belgium waffle with fresh berries and a breakfast burrito with sausage, home fries and fresh pico de gallo. The menu had a nice selection of Benedicts - We can’t wait to go back and try them all! The zucchini fritter and crispy prosciutto complimented each other perfectly, and inspired us to crisp up our own prosciutto. What a creative twist on an old classic! The waffle had the perfect amount of sweetness and the variety of fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries) was a nice addition that gave it a little tartness. They added roasted red peppers to the breakfast burrito which really made it stand out, and we loved the fresh pico! The restaurant also has a full bar and lots of specialty brunch drinks. There is high-top seating at the bar area, as well as tables throughout the restaurant. We did not have to wait this past Sunday when we arrived at noon, but we were told it does get busy on the weekends, so there could be wait times. Prices were reasonable, which is rare nowadays, and the portions were generous. The quality and creativity of the dishes absolutely blew us away. This place is truly special! Open until 2pm on Sundays, definitely check them out!...
Read moreI called to make a reservation for father's day. Never been here before. They asked if I wanted inside or the patio..I specifically asked if it was a covid 'patio'. They said it was nice and had flowers..it's not a patio it's a tent in the parking lot...like all the covid 'patios'. If I knew id be eating in a humid parking lot I would have stayed home and ate by the water. I asked if we could be seated inside instead..no luck, being it was fully booked. I don't know if they were short staffed or the kitchen can't handle the extra capacity of the 'patio' but the two minute rule to touch base with table and get drink orders went way over..as humid as it was I'd say waters are a given at each table. Pitchers would have been great. We waited an hour for waters and over 90 minutes for food for a two top. There was no sign of management or anyone greeting tables and checking in being a busy holiday brunch. I've worked the industry and that seemed always best practice. The food was delicious, maybe if I'm in the mood one day, I'll try this place again and get a table indoors on a less busy day. Otherwise looks like a cute place,...
Read moreGo for: Well-executed breakfast and brunch-type food in a bustling setting (especially for a small town).
Avoid if: You're in a hurry or have other stuff to take care of that day.
Something surprising: The place had a line going out the front door consistently on a cloudy Sunday afternoon.
Reservation needed? Yes, but not sure they take them (they wrote customer waitlist names down on what appeared to be a server check pad).
Overall Experience: 3/5. Overall, the food was pretty good...it just took literally two hours from parking until the time the bill was paid, which was excruciating. There's very little parking and no covered space to wait outside for a table (and you will most likely wait on the weekends). While we waited quite a while for each progression of our service, the staff was pleasant and the orders were accurate.
