If I could leave no stars I would. We have all been very excited about getting food from here being a new local business in town. Needless to say, this was not even close to a desirable experience. We placed an order over the phone and the woman seemed very confused and did not repeat back the order which already seemed suspicious. When I arrived to the take-out window, a male just waved at me and smiled. Another employee walked by three times and nothing was said. Minutes later, someone arrived to the window unsure of the name I placed the order under. Another employee had to assist her and gathered my incorrect food order. I then had to wait for the remaining food to be made without an apology of any kind. Without fail, the experience only became worse when we got over charged. The employee failed to inform us that ordering the platter would have been the correct way to go regarding price and quantity of food. The presentation and taste of our tacos were nothing close to what was paid. The tacos were soggy, hard to hold, and the fish was over-cooked.I am more than happy to pay the price for quality food, however, there was nothing quality about these except subpar. We have had previous experiences that were great when the restaurant was run out of the food truck however this recent experience was nothing like it. Overall very disappointed, feeling like we were taken advantage of, and will not be returning.

For the last few weeks I have heard nothing but rave reviews for What The theTaco in Mattapoisett. My husband and I finally decided to give it a try today. I’m glad we did. We ordered a few things just to have a little bit of a variety. I ordered the sweet potato taco and the coconut shrimp taco! Both were fabulous, but I’ll have to say the coconut shrimp was my favorite. My husband also ordered the sweet potato taco, the barbecue chicken taco and seasoned chicken enchiladas. He is usually fussy, but surprisingly, he loved everything he ordered! The portions were generous! The prices were more than reasonable! I also want to state that Donna who took our orders was a very pleasant woman! She shared a bit of history on how the taco truck got started. She also introduced us to Meagan, who owns the business. As busy as she was, she took the time to say hello. The combination of a warm greeting, great service and fantastic food will keep us coming back!!

The restaurant basically serves food-truck style food, you can eat-in or takeout! The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious not expensive! I can recommend them for a fast meal! We all three thought the food was good! My drinks from the Bar were also delicious!

When we first sat down, my wife said I can’t believe we haven’t been here yet. We left wishing we never went in the first place. If you want to pay over $100 for two people to eat in Mattapoisett literally go anywhere else. For starters are server ignored my wife’s request to not put cheese on her mango habanero tacos. Even though my wife had already spelled out that she was vegan When she told them not to include the rice and beans because it had chicken stock . Since The Tacos were saturated in cheese, she had to carry it back to the kitchen and said that she they would make the order again fast. Next round she brings out sweet potato tacos instead of the mango habanero ones that my wife originally ordered, and these were covered in Crema. Her and the kitchen managed to get our order wrong twice And the best she could do was saying she would take the tacos that she brought out wrong twice off of the order. I had the chicken enchiladas and I agree with the other person on here that said that Taco Bell has better Mexican food. And Taco Bell is garbage. The difference here is Taco Bell doesn’t charge you $100 to give you bad food. There’s a lot of good restaurants in Mattapoisett. This just ain’t one. I know this is a lot of words. I could’ve summed it up with...
