If you like having diarrhea this is a great place.. I ordered chicken wings .. a poo poo platter . Rice and lo mein . The waitress was very nice maybe a little bit too nice she never asked to refill our drinks she just kept talking to my children and interrupting us every time we were talking. I appreciate being nice but you need to realize what a family is talking not to keep coming over every 3 minutes and just talking she wasn't asking us if we wanted to refill our drinks or if we needed anything it was just her talking she was telling us all about her life about her grandchildren.. she went on and on and on. Me and my wife are very busy we hardly ever have time to really sit and talk with each other and this was our one time in 6 months to go out and actually talk and we were interrupted every single time we tried to speak to each other. The food was a 3 out of 10.. the noodles are stiff it was like the microwave them . I would order the rice we ordered chicken rice and got pork fried rice also I don't really eat pork so that was fun I haven't eaten pork in 15 years.. so I had one scoop of rice and had to remove everything else in it and I can still taste the pork I was totally turned off. I don't think...
Read moreAsian food reviewer. The fact people give this place 5 starts really shows they never actually had any good Asian food. Went there for Christmas eve. We get sat at this cramped circle table with 9 people so we asked to be moved to the booth that was next to over and one of the employees literally gave us attitude and said why why do you guys need to move to that table. Like what!! You can clearly see we have a bunch of people and we're cramped. Then we sit down. And there bragging about how they made 20k in take out but can't fix there lights in the restaurant. The lights kept going in and out and flickering the whole time. Then the worst part came the food. The food there was terrible one of the worst I have ever ate. Crab Rangoon was bitter. I got the Mongolian steak and it was cooked really rare it was like chewing on gum. Then my friend got his food so late he got it literally once everyone was done with the food and his food was raw as well. Do not recommend this place. If you think this place is actually good I really question if you actually...
Read moreMy family has been going to the Ying for years and enjoy the employees, food, atmosphere and drinks. I have no idea what the folks who gave this restaurant a low rating are talking about! The atmosphere is not dark but light and airy...attractively appointed. It's very affordable and servers couldn't be sweeter or more professional. Some food items we enjoy are the wonton soup, chicken wings, egg rolls egg foo yung, mushi pork or duck to name a few. Most entrees are $10 and can feed 3-4 people! Come on...you can't make a dish at home for that! We're not in Chinatown in NYC or San Francisco, people. Great job for this little seaside town...happy they are here. They will make a dish to suit your desire too. If you want pea pods, shrimp, mushrooms with black bean sauce...whatever you'd like, they'll make it for you. What restaurants do that for a patron!? I enjoy a good Manhattan there...and for half the price of most places! Atmosphere is pleasing and quiet. I'll have to try a cheeseburger...
