They were busy, but I waited a lo g time for my breakfast burrito and when it came the potatoes were cold, cheese not melted, and the bacon was almost totally raw. I never send back food but this was literally a health hazard. Then I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwhich, which arrived in under 2 minutes at my table. It had none of the tomato, cheese and spinach and was thrown together very ugly with just a huge pile of egg and excessively enormous pile of pieces of super crunchy bacon that looked like the ones they had screwed up or overcooked on everyone else's order. My waitress seemed almost as upset with the cooks as I was, when she took my plate back to them as second time i got up and told a different server I was sorry but I was leaving and explained I had been there for 45 minutes and had to send my food back twice. She seemed irritated and said the cooks were new and that i wasn't the first person who left or sent back food that morning. I'm not sure if she was irritated with me or the situation but she was very short and kept cutting me off with "yes i know we are still working some kinks out...". I know everyone makes mistakes, especially during busy times, but these cooks literally weren't even paying attention to the cap they were throwing on my plate and calling food. It was unpresentable and not even eatable. They were basically just throwing the owners food in the garbage because of preparing preparing it so poorly and loosing customers right and left. Too bad. I ended up missing hours of my tour if haiku road because I had to drive all the way to market fresh bistro to get some decent food and by that time they were closed for breakfast so I had to sit in my car and wait for lunch service to begin. At least they got my order right the first time though! I would have gone there first if I knew how much better their food and service was. I haven't had to write a review of a place this bad......

I've been a patron for years.This evening, after sitting and ordering two takeout dinners, and having two drinks waiting for the order, I left with the two takeout packages. Arriving home I realized that one of the orders was wrong. Returning to the restaurant and making my problem known, my experience fell into the minus 100 range. The waitress offered to have them "re-heat" one of the entrees that I'd observed sitting on the counter well before my incorrect order was served. Much worse is the attitude of the waitress, who acted as if she was personally offended by my complaint and issued a refund ticked that included her tip, as well she should have. This isn't the first time that I have had problems with take out orders here. At this point, I've been pushed over the edge. This restaurant has a good menu and food to go with it. But they cannot execute with consistency. And that is a minimal criticism. While waiting for my order, a group of people were seated near me. Evidently one of them was a cook, who took his place after a while, without even washing his hands. The manager of this franchise needs to wise up. That is, if there even is one. Read moreWell, until now this has been our favorite restaurant for years . We go several times a year and have always loved the high ceilings, lack of pretention, and excellent food and service. The other night we had our first bad experience there which sadly seemed a little more than bad luck. To her credit the waitress was new, so the fact that she had not yet learned to pour beer that is half foam with perhaps improve with time. However, one of the guests on his second beer pointed out that he was only getting half a beer and she did not seem concerned nor offer another half a glass The Ahi was excellent as usual though I would suggest adding a touch of onion or other colour to the two scoops of bland white unadorned rice The other meals were very substandard, The ribs were undercooked, bland with no herbs or spice and were nowhere near "fall off the bone tasty". The waitress was not aware that the pasta my friend ordered was no longer available till long after she had ordered, The replacement pasta pommedoro again was not flavorful, lacked imagination and was not worth the cost, This was the end of an era and I will next time go to Kula Bistro for their delicious imaginative pizza Ruth...
