It really is the best Thai food I have ever had. First, the spring rolls make you feel like you are finally emerging from a cave looking for sunshine akin to a bear following its nose to the seasons transitioning. Next the Pad Thai makes you so incredibly jubilant then, like a thunderstorm it turns into a crushing depression that you can’t eat it every day. The finale being an angelic perfection of what chocolate ice cream should be. It’s in the savoring of something that should be unobtainable that you realize the cacao is sourced from a stones throw and toasted 15 feet away. As you start replaying the first course of this rollercoaster through a taste bud amusement park of everything that represents a taste of Hana, the land itself, you wrap up and start throwing your a packaging into a 5 gallon bucket that becomes compost. The thought creeps into the back of your head that the owners are already planning for the next batch of cacao, vanilla and other incredible flavors. Now starts the long journey to comparing every meal to this one...
