i am visiting a resident. we are at the pool. when we headed to the pool, i stopped by the bar to buy a beer and encountered no issues. later in the day, i came back down to the city market to buy pizza. i left to go wait in the pool area. a blonde man named logan with a discolored and patchy beard made the kids working buzz me down to tell me they wouldn’t serve me if i didn’t have bottoms on. i said i didn’t have pants because i was at the pool, that i had already paid, and asked if i could just get my food. he said yes. so i am standing here, in front of the pizza store, waiting for my order, with no pants on, because he forced these kids to call me down so he could bully me for not wearing pants. this whole interaction has left me feeling disgusted and uncomfortable. there is no signage regarding clothes being a requirement in the city market area, which is located under the pool. i am a person of color. disgusting behavior by your staff. please do better. update—i spoke with the manager above logan and she insisted there was signage at the door. i requested an apology from logan, and he obliged but it was not genuine. i have added photos of all three front entrance doors from the court yard and none of them, including the entrance closest to the pool elevator, have any signs regarding dress code. the manager i spoke with did issue a gift card, which i gave to my friend i was visiting, as i will not give this place my money again.

I’m a wedding photographer in Greenville and want to say thank you to Gabe and Bre for great service at the City Market Brewery! On the day my shoot, Gabe was very kind to the couple and I, giving us permission to shoot at the brewery. Gabe also introduced us to some awesome new flavors. I really enjoyed the PBJ brew. Thank you, I’ll be back! I’d love to capture future couples in the area! We are booking weddings for 2025-2026! @sierracollinsphotography

Second time we’ve tried the food court, and we were greatly disappointed again. We went to try the pizza and hot chicken sandwich. The pizza was edible, but the chicken took over an hour to make, was way too salty, and they didn’t use the buffalo sauce as requested. Ended up throwing the sandwich out after 2 bites because it wasn’t worth eating. Will not be coming back.

Had my in-laws in town and thought we would do lunch with variety of options at City Market. #1 big problem, no soap or paper towels in the bathroom. My husband brought it to bartender Blake’s attention and he was unwilling to help with supplying soap/paper towels so he could wash his hands. At that point he asked to speak with the GM Josh and Blake was still unwilling to get the GM- “he doesn’t know if he can speak to him because he floats around.” My husband asked for the GM’s name..Josh and went and located him sitting at the bar. When he mentioned that there was no paper towels or soap he was very dismissive to my husband. My husband also mentioned he was just there on 6/28 and same issue no soap in bathroom. That’s a problem people!! These bartenders and food service employees are using the bathroom and not washing their hands. If their is no soap is in the restroom and the GM Josh won’t make his staff put soap for employees or customers that’s absolutely disgusting!! That’s how people get sick! Gross! Makes me cringe that will not supply customers or staff with soap and paper towels. Matter of fact we over heard another patron tell Blake about the no soap issue and then my husband confronts- two people complain about the issue and the staff is completely slack on putting SOAP in bathroom. 2nd thing- the pizza folks…such a sweet honest kid. Asked about slices of pizza and how long they have been in the case or do you make them to order….So pizza is made in the first thing in the morning , at 4:00 the pizza is still sitting. Only way you get a fresh pizza is to order it whole. Doesn’t seem appealing to order a slice of cheese pizza that’s been sitting 6-8 hours in a case. Barf! 3rd- BBQ- Girl that was working didn’t even know where the ribs would be. If you were to order ribs not even in the booth premises, she thought they were in a cooler or locker somewhere. Had no idea… questionable….so you are gonna go pull my food out of a cooler in another area and you’re not even sure? Ok! 3rd- Ramen is good! I recommend. Fresh and made to order.Same with Burgers- all good there! Not sure if I will return and will mention to ALL my friends about cleanliness- no soap in bathrooms is a huge red flag. Especially when the same patron visits twice and same issue still stands. When finally addressing the second visit the bartender Blake and GM Josh are unwilling to help and provide soap/papertowels. No thanks! Great concept and beautiful structure! Gordon Ramsey needs to step in and do a bar-restaurant take over!!! I will not return until they get...

We live here at Bridgeway station and we’ve tried almost everything at the food hall plus a few of the restaurants. I really don’t know how some of these places are going to make it out here if they continue with this low level of unprofessionalism and customer service. Most of these places are horribly overpriced for what you get. Hours are inconsistent. For instance around 8pm on a Friday night we kept trying to call Bourban St burgers and they kept either ignoring the calls or declining them when we wanted to place a to go order for some burgers. After my husband finally had a minute to go downstairs, it was 8:50pm (signs and google say they close at 11) he tried to order food and they told him the kitchen was CLOSED??? 1hr and 10 minutes before actual closing??? Plus, we kept trying to call an hour prior to place an order…This is obnoxious and a waste of time for people that are actually driving to eat a late night dinner here. The Boba smoothie stand had the same issue. We came to get some Boba a whole 50 minutes before closing and the high school aged girl was horribly rude and snobby and said we’re already closed.. I’m like it’s 50 minutes from closing and she was like yeah but I already cleaned the machines. Just so you guys know you guys are losing customers over stuff like this and if you talk to some of the residents around here the way they sum up these establishments...
