Poor customer service. I reached out via email about whether or not she does gender reveal cakes & provided detail on what I was interested in. She emails a short response telling me certain flavors aren't on her menu. Ok... so I'm now thinking thank you for letting me know you are only limited to what is on your menu. I responded to her & let her know I just wanted to reach out to be sure she didn't do gender reveal cakes. She then responds & says she does do gender reveal cakes. I'm not sure why she didn't answer my question to begin with, but instead was short with me through email. It's hard to support black businesses when the professionalism is not there. Instead of having an attitude & a short response, if she wasn't interested in making the cake she should've simply said she was booked.

Update 9/8 I noticed Iesha responded as if my request was something out of the ordinary. My request was simple & I said I was interested in pink or blue velvet cake with cream cheese icing. Pink or blue velvet cake is nothing but dyed vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting, so if a baker cannot do this then you should be concerned. The design of the cake did not matter to us. The bottom line is Ms. Iesha had an attitude & poor customer service as if she wasn't interested in fulfilling any orders over Labor Day weekend & told me those names weren't on her menu without trying to accommodate. I tried the red Velvet cup some time ago, but I day dream about it from time to time in a really good way. 🥰

This red Velvet cake was so rich it brought me back to my childhood. My grandmother and great aunts used to make them just like this and The Velvet Factory nailed all the flavors I'd been looking for. Also, the portion is so big, I couldn't finish it in one sitting. I tucked it away from my kids in the back of the fridge and ate it over the course of 3 days until it was gone lol It was so good.🙌🏽🤞🏽💕 I look forward to treating myself again with this red Velvet cup soon.

I have been going to Iesha for the last 3 years for her cakes, our favorite is her Red Velvet of course. So it was a no brainer to ask her to make our wedding cake! Iesha did not disappoint! The cake looked exactly how we wanted and tasted amazing. There was a small snag in the beginning, we called Iesha and she was back at the venue within minutes!
