Sunrise Skillet | Maumee | Parkway Plaza — Restaurant in Maumee

We went on Sunday at about 12:30 pm. We were told to sit anywhere but the only places to sit at a table were large tables. We were told those were for larger groups (totally understandable) so we sat at the counter since there was no where else. There were four girls working there and two I assume were hostesses who helped with drinks and clearing tables. One lady basically stood around doing nothing that I saw behind the counter. When I asked if we could order, she said I needed to wait for the waitress. So basically, they had one waitress for the entire restaurant who was doing all of the tickets, running food, cashing people out while the other three stood around talking. Clearly management or the owners have not ironed out the new restaurant kinks. We waited about 15 minutes and decided it was not going to be worth it so we got up and left. (I asked the waitress if we could order too and didn't get much of response. In her defense, she was busy and looked a little confused with food running.) What a comfortable place. There were four of us. We got eggs both in omelets and scrambled, and french toast, We love visiting small, local restaurants and this one was a real gem. Service sucked! There were 6 of us in my party. It took forever to be waited on. Approx 20/25 mins to place our order. Then the food took FOREVER to be delivered. We were short 4 silverware SETS and only had 3 napkins the whole time. Smh NEVER going back there again! 1st...
