Classic Cup — Restaurant in Maurice

It really saddens me to get on here and make this review because I just recently moved in the area and this was my favorite place to go in the morning before work. Unfortunately, I feel like with the new year of 2024. It has been nothing but disappointments. First time I came this year the girl in the window was talking mess about the lady who ordered before me. I thought she was talking about me so I questioned her about it and she explained that she was talking about the lady who paid ahead of me which was not right to do in the drive-through window. Second time I made my order and I was charged for something I didn’t order didn’t go back because didn’t have time and I let that slide because I really really used to love this place, but today I ordered a croissant with Canadian bacon 2 cookies and a strawberry smoothie I don’t think that was a difficult order but when I got to the window, the lady asked me to repeat my order. She charged me three cookies instead of two told me to have a good day without even giving me my smoothie , and there were no other customers in line so I don’t think she was being rushed. This place is a hit or miss. Lately it’s been a miss. First time I brought my bf here he said it was so good, and it was. The service is HORRIBLE. Whoever is the manager back there (short dark hair) has an attitude with workers when our order isn’t right which it usually isn’t right. It seems like they just keep bringing in new girls who don’t know the menu or how to alter if you want a different milk or no whip cream. One time my son got a smoothie that tasted like sour milk. Another time I got a chai frappe that tasted like burnt beans. I don’t know how their line is always mid to long but we’re gonna find a new spot for sure. New 2nd location from their original drive thru in Abbeville, this one is right off the main highway into Maurice. It was my first time tasting their coffee, I got a salted caramel & white chocolate latte, and you could really taste the salted caramel, probably a little too much for me, but still tasty. Nice interior with a healthy amount of seating available indoors and outdoors with gifts and nic nacs to purchase. There is also food and pastries sold here ! Friendly and helpful staff too.
