Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Maurice

Edited 3/17/24: Our local Pizza Hut in Maurice has always provided great food and service until now. Corporate is forcing Door Dash deliveries and service has gone down. Door Dash canceled my order after collecting the pizza forcing me to go into Pizza Hut to wait on another pizza order to be made. I requested my tip back from the March 3rd order. As of this review, I still have not received my refund for the tip that Door Dash collected. To be clear, I did NOT choose Door Dash. Pizza Hut used Door Dash to deliver.

Prior review: Always delicious and fresh. So much better than when they first opened. Our local Pizza Hut has really shined in the past...

Ordered pizza and wings this evening and asked for automated order tracking via text. The initial message gave an estimated delivery time 45 minutes out which wasn't bad. Twenty minutes after ordering I got an update saying our order was out for delivery. We live 5 minutes from the store. After another 30 minutes passed I called and was told it would be here in 5 minutes. It showed up one hour and twenty five minutes after the order was originally placed, and the pizza was cold. Never again! For the $50 I spent on one cold large pizza and 12 wings plus delivery, tax and tip, we could have easily had a good dinner at a local restaurant. Bye...

If you like paying for stuff (i.e extra dip cups, drinks) and not receive them, or order something specifically how you want it, but don't get what you pay for, then this is the place for You! 9 times out of 10, my order is always incorrect or missing items. And everyone ditched Domino's for pizza hut?! Tsk tsk. When the flood happened in 2016, called pizza hut, they wanted to charge full menu price, and wouldn't add coupons.
