Ortegas Mexican restaurant and buffet — Restaurant in Maysville

The food there is always good but it's never crowded. There are several Mexican restaurants in the area,probably 3 or four but I have only eaten at two of them, and I find this one the best so far. This place is the hidden gem. The food is fresh and hot and always comes out perfectly cooked. Never overcooked. It's probably the cheapest Mexican restaurant to eat at. You get a lot for your Money and you always come out full. I don't understand why the other Mexican restaurant I went to is always crowded, let me give you a hint, it used to be ponderosa. Saw good reviews of Ortega's so I thought I'd try it . Walked in and was seated quickly , the waitress brought my water with lemon and asked if I'd like the buffet....which I hadn't noticed. I had never seen a Mexican restaurant with a buffet so that's what I got. And I'm glad I did because everything on it that I tried is great. I liked that could sample many main courses and didn't have to get the fillers. So I got to try a lot of items but wasn't stuffed afterwards. I recommend Ortega's. Best Mexican around! There is another Mexican restaurant in Maysville but it's not Ortega's! The buffet is amazing but if your not there at the right time for the buffet don't worry. Everything I've had on the menu is amazing! I'm a big Mexican fan and have been to plenty of Mexican restaurants and this ones my favorite.
