Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Maysville

We called at 9:30PM on 9/7/16 and Kelly at Pizza Hut (1408 US-68) in Maysville, KY felt a need to speak to us as if we were children, reiterate several times that they closed at 10PM, and let us know that she "didn't know" where her delivery people were - which was "wonderful" (sarcasm) customer service.

I asked if Pizza Hut wanted the order or preferred to discourage business and got no answer. I then communicated to Kelly that a 1 hour delivery time was fine however, the delivery of a cold pizza was not.

To further discourage my family from placing an order for delivery, Kelly proceeded to quote a price of $22+ for a large 5-topping pizza that has been $13.04 (including delivery and taxes) as far back as 1 year and as recently as 2 weeks ago....When I asked about the $9 increase, I received a BS 'explanation' and the ending price was $18.84 for a large 3-topping.

If getting off early (as opposed to running a successful business and filling orders to customer specifications) is more important to the management at Pizza Hut in small-town USA Maysville, KY -- then say so. I placed my order at about 10:05 pm on Saturday October 20th. The first thing I didn't like at all was the fact that the person takin my carryout order was hard to understand an doesn't work at the actual restaurant. I had to have them repeat everything so I could make sure it was right. The second was I am very dissdisappoiin the taste an quality of the pizza an cheese bread I ordered. I remember pizza but being some of the best pizza around. I don't know if it's just the Maysville location or all of the pizza huts. My pizza barely had toppings an very little cheese. The cheese bread had more parm cheese the mozzarella which made it very dry tasting an the lack of marinera sauce to use for all of the bread didn't help. Food is terrible. One pizza that should've been loaded does not have many toppings. The crust is chewy and leathery, even though it's stuffed crust. Missing half of my cinnamon sticks that I ordered. Kids enjoyed their pizza, except the stuffed crust. This restaurant used to be AMAZING. It was a great family spot in the evening and on weekends. It was busy enough during the day. This evening, the parking lot was ENTIRELY EMPTY when I pulled up. Not even an employee car in the parking lot, leaving me wondering what was going on. Parking lot was a bit dirty with trash, and a random landscape timber laying on the road next to the entrance. I will not eat here again. I will not recommend it ever. Needs new ownership.
