New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Mayville

Sadly this rating is only because they advertise being open 7 days per week starting at 11 am. I called repeatedly on Monday to place an order to which no one answered. So I stopped by thinking maybe they were just busy. Big sign on door says "open 7 days a week". The door was locked. Online menu looked great. I can appreciate you are doing pick up window only but, standing in 40 degree weather at the window for 10 minutes after you said food is ready stinks . I rang the silly bell you have outside to no avail. When the woman finally did come to the window and took my money she barely opened the window because it was cold . Shoved the bag full of food into the gap and it tore as I tried to pull it through. Besides all this food is ok but there is better out there with much better...

I'm assuming all the five star reviews here are from people that have never left mayville. The food is barely edible. The chicken is gristle and rock hard. Most the food is just salty steamed veggie mix with no sauce or seasonings. We paid 45$ and had to wait 2.5 hours just to go home and make our own food.

This place is absolute garbage, i want my money back. Look at the pictures, it seriously looks like vomit. The inmates at dodge county eat...
