Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in McAlester

This was an awful experience for me and my children, after ordering 4 combos, totaling $75, they could not take a $100, and I was very understanding, cancelled my order and told them I might be back. My daughter had her heart set on trying it because we had never seen this restaurant, so I obtained some change, we went back and ordered the same food, which somehow, increased in price to $79, we then proceeded to the next window to receive our food. The 1st problem I noticed was that I paid $3 extra to have their drinks changed to shakes, and they were so small, which wasn't that big of an issue, I just thought they should have been a little bit bigger. After receiving the food, I immediately pulled into a parking spot just to verify that we had all of our food because I have so many experiences of not checking my orders and getting home only to find that I am missing items, at this point I wanted to try my burger, so I pulled it out of its foil pouch, and I kid u not, the meat patties were as thin as the lettuce! I went ahead and took a bite and, of course it was extremely disappointing. I also noticed that the fry boxes were about half full, and no, they were not spilled in the bag, they only filled them halfway! I'm not trying to insinuate that my children are perfect, but they are generally not picky about food, but they all made it a point to tell me that they never want to eat this food again. So, I wish other customers good luck with this place, but for my family, I think Freddy's steak burgers is a 1 and done...

Went today and had issues with the scanner being broken for my app, my very friendly cashier called two managers over to ask how to proceed, the first one blew her off and the second one said just tell me what it is and we will add it to her order. Order comes, item from my app wasnt with my order, manager was rude and walked to the back, then i hear my very nice cashier getting yelled at and them telling her the app works and she should have scanned it. Clearly the scanner is broken and I felt horrible that this girl was getting admonished right in front of me. Everyone was super nice when they first opened and clearly that is not...

The service is so friendly and quick! Unlike all the other fast food restraunts in this town, they DON'T interrupt you when your ordering, how respectful! The food is great quality so of course it's not going to be cheap! The ONLY place in town that has cheese curds and they are to die for!! The best burgers in town by far!
