We have booked private parties at this location for several years. Today, we had a party booked and when we went in the lady asked about music and when we would like to play games. I let them know that we would do cake at 11:30 and they could do games before or after that. 20 minutes before our party ended i asked about the games and the lady came up to me and made a statement that it was almost time to turn in the skates and we only had time for one game. In the past, the staff has made this really fun for the kids. I'm the last They played limbo, the dice game, had races... Today she let me know we had time for one game so we played the dice game. I feel that if the staff would have went came out earlier they could have played keel games and made the party entertaining for the kids who were there but it felt like they didn't try to do that at all. We've booked here multiple times and today was the only time we've had this experience and been dissatisfied. For the amount of money we spent to book the private party, i'm disappointed that the staff didn't come out sooner and host the games for the kids. We will not book again at a roller...
Read moreMaybe I’ve been spoiled by the skating rink in my home town, but this was certainly not what I was expecting when I came into The Roller Dome. When I first arrived I was immediately told I would need to keep my jacket on the entire time I was skating because I had about an inch of midriff showing. The lady at the desk said “sorry you can’t have your stomach hanging out it’s in the dress code.” Now maybe I am in the wrong, but I have never thought to check the dresscode at such casual places like a roller rink. The second lady at the desk where you get your skates was also not very pleasant, she seemed to be in a bad mood when asking what sizes we needed and was frustrated when I did not hear her the first time. The skates weren’t great quality and you’re not skating on a gym floor but rather some uneven DIY flooring that makes skating a bit more difficult. It’s a cute place for smaller kids, but I was expecting...
Read moreThis place makes it really hard to skate. They don't do proper maintenance on their skates; I switched my skates out multiple times and every skate I got had: a stiff wheel, worn out padding, or a hole in the boot. The skate floor was also hazardous. There were spots with holes that would trip you, uneven flooring, the tile would scrape you when you wiped out, and the connections from the main floor to the skate floor would launch you forward going in, and trip you going out. They also do not disinfect the skates after use with anything, the staff just sprays air freshener in it then re-shelves it. Overall...
